In 1953, the Opera House purchased this building and turned it into an intimate venue for special performances and rehearsals.
The most significant difference between staying in Blackhawk and staying in Central City is what you would like to do. A hotel in Blackhawk means you’re surrounded by an endless list of casinos of which we haven’t even mentioned everything yet. From either city, you can drive out to the Golden Gate Canyon State Park for a day.
