One night at the Gold Dust West
My daughter and her fiancé were coming to Carson City for one night. I had less than a week to book a room in Carson for that night. I was able to get the room I wanted and it was nice and appropriate for the price. Had a great time at the Gold Dust West!

I always enjoy staying here. Great free breakfast. Friendly staff. Convenient on site bar and casino makes it not to have a drink and not drive. My only take away is the smell of smoke can get overwhelming being a non smoker. I wish they offered fans for the room to help push the smell of the window. The ac keeps it from going out i think because it's located directly under the window. Over all great stay.

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights. There was no cleaning or straightening of the room any day we were there . I had to locate cleaning people to get coffee and cups each morning. I was very unhappy.

my stay was just ok the location easy to find the only reason Im giving low score is because they gave me room in the first floor and even thought the room are non smoking room the smoke from the casino come all the way to the hallway and filters inside the rooms my kids have asthma so we didn't do good at all I would not consider staying there again

We stayed second time and we loved, just one little suggestion, for service in the morning breakfast, takes forever even I ordered plain oatmeal it takes over 30-40 min. I’m trying to get on the slopes early but loosing that precious time waiting.
