The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The check in was fast and efficient, we were made to feel very welcome.
The room was large and well appointed, however very dated. None of the furniture was broken or badly worn, just dated. The room didn’t feel like it belonged in a 5 star hotel. Overdue for a refurbishment. However plenty of room for storage. We had a kitchenette, but we didn’t use it. Though it looked good enough to make a small meal. Small cooktop and microwave. Nice size fridge, plenty of room for snacks and drinks. Also had a coffee maker with Nespresso capsules.
The bed was very comfortable along with the pillows.
The bathroom was large, great shower with good pressure and continuous hot water. The body wash and shampoo was excellent, great product chosen there.
We had a balcony with great views of the river.
The area around the hotel was full of shops and restaurants. The IconSiam shopping centre is across the river, close enough to walk. Very close to transport like the river taxis and Saphan Taksin train to easily get around Bangkok.
Overall we would recommend staying here.
