Great place to start with great food and a wonderful bar. Overall the place is dimly lit though which mashes it feel too dark and the bedding and decor is vintage/antique which works only for some people.

Stayed here many times and this was a dud. There was no one at reception for a full five minutes. When we were finally noticed, someone who did not work at reception checked on us. Then magically an employee came out from the room behind reception to help us. She did not apologize for leaving us hanging. The soap dispenser in the bathroom had dripped onto the counter top leaving the impression that the cleaning staff had not cleaned, and the hot water didn't get hot. Lots to improve upon.

I contacted the hotel letting them know about a late arrival, which they seemed ok with. When I arrived at the hotel, they had cancelled my reservation and would not allow me to check in. When Expedia tried to recover the cost of my reservation, the hotel refused. Completely unethical.
