We love French Polynesia, We've also been to Tikehau Pearl and Bora Bora St Regis.
Le Taha staff is the absolute best we've encountered anywhere.
Friendly helpful and accommodating people that genuinely care about their guests and their experience.
Just to give some examples.. we were all at the bar, and a couple was there wife sitting the husband standing because no place to sit, nobody asked for a chair but the bartender went to get the guy a seat.. that was so nice.
we were in the lobby and walking through.. there was a little drizzle, the staff offers us a poncho so we didn't get wet. how sweet are they.
everything I asked for, they tried to make it happen.. whatever special food requests, things in our room nobody else had, they never say no. they were beyond our expectation. very nice.
We stayed for 3 weeks and loved it..
some constructive criticism.
1. WiFi only exists in the lobby and restaurants. they need to bring that too the rooms. The Vini hotspots are inconsistent and slow.
2. Food could be majorly improved. St Regis was more variety and better quality.
3. The overall look and feel could use a little updating. This place was built in 2002... adding flowers making the walkways nicer, cobblestone, the bridges have screws missing, stuff like that.. not a deal breaker for us. we will be back. but to attract new visitors I'd definitely work on it.
All in all we love it and we would come back. the service was 5 stars.

The resort and staff were excellent. The food was very good. Our overwater bungalow with pool was amazing.
There was a coral garden with lots of colorful fish and plenty of beach activities. We enjoyed the spa and the property is beautifully landscaped. The only issue that we had was with the overwater pool. When it was windy out, the water from the infinity pool would blow back onto the deck. It even sprayed into the room a few times when the wind gusted. It would be great if you could lower the pool level a little in the wind so it didn't spray back. Other than that the resort was fantastic.

If you’re looking to party all night long, love the sound of thumping, reggae and the sight of empty plastic drinks floating in a slimy pool… then you definitely don’t want to come here! Likuliku is nothing short of exquisite; as a frequent traveler, visiting many countries, I have never encountered this level of hospitality, kindness, and true generosity! The resort is perfectly positioned on a glorious lagoon, private, quiet, and unobtrusive. The room was clean, cool, and so very comfortable, serviced twice a day, and with beautiful touches, such as fresh flowers and scented candles. The food was fantastic! Fresh, beautifully garnished, served with a smile and tons of variety for every palate! The kayaks and watercraft were plentiful and always available at no extra cost! The pool was beautifully maintained, the perfect temperature, and the deck kept neat and tidy. The smallness of this resort makes it an absolute mess for couples, looking for a private, romantic getaway. We chose one of the lagoon front bures with private plunge pool, and we would absolutely do that again! we were greeted with songs & the excursions rock! Is Likuliku affordable? Like most exclusive, luxury hotels it is not cheap by any means… and the airfare to fly from the United States is downright prohibitive…BUT, if you are looking for once in a lifetime experience that is unmatched anywhere else in the world and want to create memories to last a lifetime, Likuliku is absolutely a must!
