Nice small resort on the river. It has a restaurant & bar offering breakfast, lunch & dinner (dinner options limited). They can arrange tours, we did 1 thru them & it was good. It's not in town but within 10-15 minutes, so if you want to go to dinner in town you'll need a car. We had an issue with air conditioner that they fixed right away even though it was Good Friday, had to jiggle with toilet a few times to get it to work & 1 entry door would only partly open. There weren't many bugs, but with no screens on the windows we couldn't even leave them open a crack to listen to the sounds of the river & jungle.

We had a wonderful experience with coco beach. The staff were helpful, understanding and welcoming. We especially appreciated our concierges Nia and Andrew who went above and beyond to assist with reservations and recommendations. Our only two downsides were the noise from nearby construction and weak internet. The latter proved to be a blessing though in helping us disconnect and relax.

Las Terrazas is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay. The beach and pool are both lovely, and we had no problem getting chairs. They cleaned the sea grass off the beach at least daily (sometimes more than once per day) if it was blowing in, which is essential some days. We enjoyed the complementary kayaks and paddle boards. The food in the restaurant was also good and the condo was clean and pleasant. My only complaint was that the living room furniture was a bit worn and uncomfortable, but we didn't spend much time there. Also, the areas outside the resort are not nice, but the resort obviously can't control that and we always felt perfectly safe. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay for a very reasonable price!
