We were really surprised with how delightful this hotel is. The staff is over-the-top accommodating and pleasant. The building is really cool, how it integrates the ancient garden walls into the modern vibe of the atrium and common areas is very creative. Finally, the location cannot be better when it comes to fanning out in all directions to see Barcelona

When we checked in, no one mentioned anything about the spa. So we never found it. Don't even know what was there. Breakfast looked nice, but wasn't as extensive selection as we expected or as nice as the other hotels we stayed at in the region. Parking was nice to have on site, but so complicated! Was fine once we arrived and turned over the key. But when we needed to leave no staff member had a license to drive! So we have to get the car out ourselves. Ordinarily, that would be fine. But no one mentioned that the elevator the car had to use was literally a few inches larger than our car in all directions! And then, no one told us how the doors opened. So it took a long time to get the car perfectly straight into the garage. We had to close both side mirrors to enter the elevator, so they weren't any help. Then to leave the building, the doors opened towards the car! And ended up slightly scratching our car! :-(. We didn't realize it because it was still dark out. But the car rental company did! And they charged us about 400 Euros!!!! This would never have happened if the staff members could have taken care of our car as they had on the previous days.

It’s a beautiful, elegant hotel. The views are amazing. However for a luxury property I found it disappointing. The breakfast buffet had no hot cereals or muesli and nothing like pancakes or waffles. There was supposed to be an airport shuttle but we had to take a taxi. The shuttle to town ran 3 times a day and only had room for 6 people. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant but the restaurant food was not up to expectations.

Second time around the last night was impossible to sleep with a super loud engine / pipe water situation on the walls Very frustrating because I needed the rest We were not offered any compensation which was kind of dissapointing

The property was beautifully fitting for the history of Seville. The staff was very welcoming with pre check-in refreshments. The hotel provides evening guitar music and a lovely roof top view of the city.

False advertisement on description, property is about an hour from airport, site says free transport to and from airport but when you call for transport they say they go through a third party so be ready to pay over 100 euros each way or a taxi which is about the same.

Had a wonderful time vacationing with several family members. The hotel was busy over Easter week but the staff was very accommodating to all our needs. Changed rooms a couple of times as We wanted a better view and staff was wonderful. Breakfast selections were outstanding and service fantastic.

This is a fantastic facility! If you're considering the Gran Melia, go ahead and spurge a bit and go for the Red Level. It is worth the extra. We were treated like very special guests, and it appeared all of our fellow Red Level guests had similar experiences. This was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at any resort. Now, a few little things to note. If you have read many reviews, you've probably seen the wet bathroom floors mentioned. It really is a bit of a problem. The design of the shower allows a significant amount of water to run out onto the floor of the main part of the bathroom. Its a shame because the design and look of the shower is great! This problem would be very easy to correct by raising the shower door a centimeter or so and adding a threshold. Perhaps this is something that can be done at some point in the future. If you are at risk of slipping and falling, I suggest you do not use the shower, as there will almost certainly be water on the floor. There is a separate tub that can be used instead. Also, note that this is not a non-smoking campus. We were often greeted by the disgusting stench of cigarette smoke when we tried to enjoy our balcony. Most people will find the restaurant prices to be quite expensive. We had full board and used that circumstance to choose the very best items on the menus. In general, the food was quite good. But honestly, the very impressive buffet was a delight and really all we needed. Really great resort!!
