Everything was ok

Riu it’s always a great time, it’s a party resort you don’t really come there for anything else lol food was edible. And we were able to go to the other hotel Riu Montego Bay, and eat lunch there and go to their parties. I only got to try the buffet and the snack bar. You had to have reservations for everything else which everything was booked the whole time we were there. The jerk chicken hut was good on the beach as well.

This was our first time in Negril and first time staying at an RIU property. Overall, it was a great hotel however they charge you $5 if you lose a room key. We were traveling with a group of 32 family members and the food at the restaurants were not the best. However, the buffet for breakfast and dinner were not bad. The property is well maintained and the rooms were always clean.

We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The resort was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless every day, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. The evening turndown service was a thoughtful touch that made us feel well cared for. The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone was warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Patricat Mono Restaurant, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. He is truly an asset to the resort and deserves special recognition. We also appreciated the outstanding team at Pier 8, where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Their exceptional hospitality made each meal memorable. The spa experience was another highlight. The staff member who arranged our appointment was professional and accommodating, and the two therapists who treated my husband and me were exceptional. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The entertainment was absolutely fantastic and one of the best parts of our stay. There was always something fun and exciting to enjoy. The only suggestions I have are to offer more authentic Jamaican dishes at the Buccaneers Buffet and through room service, including traditional Jamaican chicken soup prepared the authentic way. I would also love to see the Italian restaurant expand its menu by adding shrimp dishes and classic Alfredo pasta
