You make your own roomkey at checkin but it does not tell which room you get. We had to call to know which room. AC does not work. We asked how to turn on the AC and the phone service person said, turn the window open.
Nice location - walking distance to train station, tram stop just outside. The room was tidy with a balcony. The front desk staff was helpful and gave me a late checkout without a fuss.
We stayed at two separate rooms at this hotel. Both were great. The breakfast was awesome, so was the staff. The transportation is very very easy to/ from really anywhere including the airport, ETH campuses. Super walkable location close to HB, old city, and the lake. One slight con could be: If you are sensitive to light, the bathroom doors were frosted glass and at night street light was coming through because bathrooms had windows. It was not too bad though. I would definitely stay again.
Love the artwork and decor. Lobby was fun to hang out in. Balcony nice. The rooms are tiny and the double bed was hard and I felt every move my partner made, BUT I loved being next to the church and near old Zurich, and the restaurant was nice to drink wine in. Just liked the vibe and the price.

The Leoneck is a really nice hotel, good location close to town and the central train station. Our room was a little small but the bed very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The staff was very helpful and friendly and informative, we had no issues at all.
Staff were helpful and facilities better than expected. The quad room was quite spacious.
