Lovely stay !

Me and my friends had the perfect stay here . The owners were amazing and responded to us in a very quick manner and were also helpful . The villa itself was amazing , super clean a lot bigger then I thought and just what we was wanting . Location I would advise to get a car , also it’s surrounded by farms , so we had not a nice smell in the odd occasion and had issues with flies . However this didn’t stop us from having a lovely relaxing fun time ! Thank you for your hospitality!

Pool Area

The foliage spoils the grandeur of the whole pool area potential and stops the pool from heating as very limited sunlight direct but mainly for the visitor's sunbathing and general enjoyment area at rear of house.

Wunderschöne Villa, tolle Unterstützung

Wir waren zu zehnt auf Abifahrt neun Nächte in der Villa Sky. Sehr geräumig, ausreichend Zimmer und Bäder, toller Pool und Außenbereich. Der "Tak Kiem Butcher" in der Nähe (rund 3 Min. zu Fuß) hat alle wichtigen Grundnahrungsmittel (Wasser, Konserven, Gemüse, Obst, Fleisch usw.), für alles Weitere gibt es einen Lidl (mit dem Fahrrad rund 5-10 Min entfernt). Die Vermieterin Josette stand rund um die Uhr für Fragen zur Verfügung und kam bei Bedarf auch gerne persönlich vorbei. Sehr angenehm sind die Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine, was den Aufenthalt erleichtern und entspannen. Jeder von uns bekam zwei Duschhandtücher gestellt, außerdem wurde in jedem Bad neben dem Waschbecken ein Handtuch platziert. Die Endreinigung war inklusive. Es gibt in der Nähe der Villa eine Bushaltestelle mit guter Anbindung, wodurch es gut möglich war, auch andere, weiter entfernte Teile der Insel zu sehen. Die Bustickets sind mit 2 Euro für 2 Stunden günstig, auch die ecab-Taxis sind zu empfehlen (ebenfalls günstig). Nicht zu empfehlen ist die Tour von Supreme Cruises nach Comino, hier war das Schiff alt und sehr voll, die Fahrtzeit zu lang wegen vielen Zwischenstopps. Die Blue Lagoon auf Comino ist überfüllt, allerdings gibt es auf der anderen Seite der Insel eine schöne Badestelle mit sauberem Wasser und nicht zu vielen Menschen. Es gibt auch einen sehr schönen Felsstrand (ähnlich dem St. Peters Pool nur viel leerer) in der Nähe der Villa wenn man erst in Richtung Marsaxlokk fährt, dann am St Peters Pool vorbei und noch ca. 500 Meter oder etwas mehr weiter, dann links nach unten abbiegt. Sehr empfehlenswert, zu Fuß jedoch etwas zu weit, hier entweder mit dem Fahrrad oder mit einem Mietwagen o.ä. hinfahren. Gesamt gesehen also top Villa, top Vermieter, gute Lage, weiterzuempfehlen.

Peace and tranquility

We had a lovely stay at Villa Sky with the family (9 of us). The villa is in a very peaceful little town with farmland and countryside around it. The rooms were very spacious and had their own bathrooms which was a huge plus. We loved the welcome package left in the fridge on arrival. The pool and garden are bigger than what is represented in the pictures which was a huge relief. I think the wide angle shot made the pool look smaller somehow but it's actually a good size. There is on street parking for the villa out front or there is a few spaces around the side which we used more often. I would say hiring a car would be beneficial to see more of the places around the villa as Zetjun is quite quiet. Also, with the car we went to Lidl (10 min drive away) and did a big shop for the week which I'd recommend doing. There are other shops nearby like the butcher which is also great for getting BBQ food at a great price. Only thing I could complain about was that the AC is a must at night if you are not used to hot temperatures. We had to top it up every night to get a good sleep and the rate that it used up the credit was very fast when all rooms were using the AC. Thanks for having us and hopefully visit Villa Sky and Malta again!

Zetjun Villa

The property is located on the outskirts of Zetjun in a rural location a short drive from Marsaskala and the picturesque town of Marsaxlokk. The owners were very helpful advising of local amenities and places to visit when we arrived but a car is essential in our opinion. The villa was well equipped, although is a little tired in places.

Perfect family holiday location

Arranged to have our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Sky Villa with 3 generations of the family. Josette met us on the first day with lots of useful information on local shops and restaurants plus details of tours around Malta that could be arranged. The villa itself is very nice with large bedrooms and lots of bath/shower rooms. The outside area is even better with a barbeque area next to the pool where we had all our breakfasts and dinners. The pool is deceptively large with depths of 1.2m to 1.7m so the grandchildren spent most of the day, every day, splashing around. The two closest coastal towns, Marsascala and Marsaxlokk (pronounced Marsashlok) are well worth visiting particularly Marsaxlokk on market days. The villa is in a quiet area and bus stops are 5 to 10 minutes walk away, however, if you want to see more of Malta it's probably worthwhile hiring a car which are relatively cheap. We would certainly recommend staying at Sky Villa to our friends and maybe return for more Wedding Anniversaries.
