The room was in basement level, I would not describe it as a “superior room”. The bed and shower was clean but the carpet and rest of the room was a little shabby. You had to walk through a toilet section to get to the room and this smelt quite bad. In the morning all the rooms were woken on our second morning at 7:50 by banging on all the windows and a workman shouting loudly on the phone. The neighbouring room actually starting banging back in the window because it was so loud. The second morning we were woken at 8am by someone hoovering in the corridor, considering the checkout time was 11am this was very early to be banging around and using a hoover right outside our door.
The staff themselves were lovely though, especially on the reception, very thoughtful with recommendations and friendly chitchat.
