7 St John's Crescent - a family break that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

This 3 bedroom property makes for a great family getaway in York.

Located just a couple of minutes' walking distance from the iconic York Minster and all that you could wish to see and do in York. The property also benefits from an on street parking permit for 1 car.

The ground floor of the property has a lounge with a traditional feel complete with hard wood flooring and LCD TV perfect for cosy nights in. There's also a separate dining room that seats 6 for dinner. Just off the the dining room you'll find the kitchen which has a nice light and airy feel. There's some lovely touches to be found here including the large range cooker, granite work surfaces and retro style fridge. There's a conservatory area at the rear of the kitchen with comfortable seating and access to the private patio at the rear of the property.

Moving up to the first floor of the property there is the main bathroom. A very spacious area complete with roll top bath and separate walk in shower. Two of the three bedrooms also sit on this floor. The first of which is the large master bedroom that comes with a king size bed and large built in wardrobe. The second bedroom is next door and features twin beds.

On the top floor there is another twin room in the attic that has the added benefit of a shower ensuite.
The vacation home features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony or patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and an ironing board.

The property was well presented and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance and it was no trouble parking the car because of residence permit. A great place to stay when visiting York. Only downsides were rear yard was so overgrown it was unusable, the welcome pack was derisory.

A beautiful property in easy walking distance to York centre

We had a wonderful stay at St John's Crescent. The house is beautiful, and is decorated with style and class, not just another IKEA catalogue rental! It is in easy walking distance to the beautiful city, and also to local shops and a playground which came in handy when the kids got tired of sightseeing!

Good location

Lovely house in a brilliant location, close enough to walk to attractions yet quiet. We loved the conservatory- kept beautifully warm by the kitchen range, though cooking with the range was tricky and we didn’t discover the microwave until the final day! Clean and functional, daughter loved the attic room and en-suite! Thank you for a good stay

Awesome location

Great place to stay close to everything! Easy walk to the Minster and everything else York has to offer. Also close to grocery shopping and so many restaurants! Very comfortable house with everything we needed to get started. We had some beautiful days so I was able to enjoy my coffee in the lovely back garden.

Beautiful spot within walking distance to York

We loved our stay here. It was a quiet spot on a road that was closed to traffic. They provided free parking passes for the days we were there and it was walking distance to York. I especially loved the conservatory and small back garden area. The house was well stocked and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. I would have liked a microwave and detailed instructions on the use of the Esse stove. Being from the US, we were unfamiliar with how to turn it on! However, we would fully recommend this property and would return again in a heartbeat.

Great neighborhood near the city center

We traveled to York from the U.S. communication with the property manager was excellent. We drove from Manchester to York with no problem. There is ample parking. The house is much prettier in person. There’s plenty of room to spread out. Brief walk to the city center. Nice and quiet neighborhood.
