The Rusty Shak is truly a unique little home that oozes character and charm, clad mostly in 100 year old shearing shed iron, the Rusty Shak lives up to it's name. Step inside and there you will find the stunning iron queen size bed draped in luxurious linen which will give you a relaxed feel and great nights sleep. There's a comfy couch to sit whilst playing a game or two or to watch a movie on Netflix. If you feel like a night in there's a gorgeous little kitchenette offering a microwave, air fryer, electric fry pan and of course no home would be complete with out the aussie BBQ sitting on the deck. There's a full bathroom which includes a corner shower, toilet, porcelain vanity, towels, beautiful Al.ive shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body lotion, the bathroom also has a hair dryer, iron and table top ironing board just incase the local Hotel calls you! Weather permitting there is a rustic fire pit that is surrounded by a gorgeous native garden. With the sounds of nature right at your door step, why would you want to be anywhere else. There is ample car parking right at your door. Yankalilla is a stunning little country town that is situated in the heart of the Fleurieu, A stones throw away from the most stunning beaches of Normanville and Carrickalinga, a short drive to Wirrina Cove, Second Valley, Rapid Bay and the magnificent Kangaroo Island where you can catch the ferry at Cape Jervois. There are several wineries and breweries to explore, waterfalls, caves and delicious eateries. How about Kayaking, fishing or taking one of the walking trails around the Myponga reservoir, There's so much to do and explore but you can set the pace!.
