Holiday Inn is the usual go to for a mid range hotel, but the trend is there. Every time I go to a Holiday Inn, I know, that the breakfast is going to be revolting, and it always is. From the coffee, to the orange dyed water they call orange juice, to the bacon that looks like strips of spam, its not much to write home about. Great hotel, except for the breakfast, staff really good, and convenient location. Would stay again, just eat outside.

Budget hotel service

I would say the only advantage to stay at this hotel is the location. The MTR station just few steps away from here. The hotel provide basic amenities and no wardrobe like budget hotel. The WIFI connection is very bad. As we need to go to airport at 6 am, we requested for hotel’s help to book a taxi for next early morning. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide service for taxi booking, the front desk staff asked us to stop a taxi from road side. Is it unexpected that Holiday Inn Express do not provide the taxi booking service.

A bad hotel experience

A long story short, I experienced the following issues during my stay at the hotel. 1) I had paid my stay at the hotel before I checked in. The hotel charged me again when I checked in. It was found out when I checked out. 2) The room, where I stayed, is completely different from standard Holiday In Express. It is not serviceable. 3) The water sewage of shower was blocked since the first night. The problem remained when I checked out. 4) The telephone in the room did not work. 5) Last but most important, the door electronic lock was out of order. It took the hotel an hour and half for getting a technician to fix it. 6) The front desk does not provide service of calling taxi.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet is great. But only the manager speaks English. This is the usual situation in China, so it is to be expected at other hotels too.

這家飯店我大力推薦,除了客房乾淨整潔,早餐好吃以外, 最值得推薦的是人員服務太好了,你有任何問題,只要是在他們能力範圍之內,都會盡力幫你達成,以客為尊在這裡完全體現,尤其是前台服務人員Roki,經理Alice,還有夜班的年輕帥哥(忘了看名牌),服務態度與熱誠值得表揚。

excellent customer service

A good experience that I received a phone call from Alice who is the customer service manager in Holiday Inn hotel. I forgot to take an electronic device in room when leaving I was informed by Alice. She packed and shipped to me according to the address I provided, very impressive.
