Decent accommodation in Wyong

Very good for a pub style hotel room. I had a queen bed room with a private bathroom. The room was small and basic but it did the job. Nothing luxurious but it was clean. Bed was comfortable. There is a communal fridge in the hallway. Would have no problem staying here again.

Ensuite door (sliding) did not stay shut... just kept rolling open! And even after jamming it shut, there were huge gaps all around it. Cockroach landed on my head while in bed!

My friends and I stayed only one night at the Royal Hotel in Wyong but we will surely be back. Firstly we were impressed by the beautiful renovations of the accommodation which kept the bones of the old building but added the comfort and convenience of up to date facilities. While small, the rooms are cleverly designed and extremely comfortable and attractive. Having the bar and bistro downstairs means food and drink are readily available without driving anywhere and the hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of many places to eat. Wyong itself appears to be a bit of a foodie haven, with at least a few very exciting offerings found during a walk around the area. Congratulations to the Royal Wyong Hotel for creating this gem! I look forward to a return visit.
