The perfect holiday house

The original art decorating the rooms, the well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom, the comfortable bedroom furniture and the lovely lounge fittings all combined to make it the perfect holiday spot for us. Wonthaggi had all the things needed for a holiday in January but we didn't see any crowds. They were probably at the popular holiday spots along the Bass Coast.

Great stay, No bad suprises

First time I have rented a house ever and was a little worried as u hear of some terrible experiences. As soon as we arrived we were very happy. Place was extremely clean, sleeping arrangements, photos and advertising was spot on and property management was very friendly, informative, simple and helpful.

Rachel was an amazing host with excellent communication! The house was in the perfect location - close to shops and tourist attractions, complete with all the small touches one could ask for! Thank you for the beautiful stay - we hope to be back soon :)

Cottage Fun

A beautiful, clean and welcoming space for us to stay the last 2 days, with our four kids. The house has been renovated and it presents very nicely Our family really enjoyed our time at this inspiring holiday home. The board games were a hit, as were some of the books and country-life magazines. We manage to wash and dry a bunch of clothes in the commercial-sized clothes washer/ dryer.

Charming cottage

Stayed over a long weekend. This spacious cottage is bigger than it looks. It’s beautiful newly renovated with a real eye for detail. It’s got great air con and room heating. A big kitchen and bathroom. A brand new large smart TV with all the apps you want.. including Kayo ready to go!! 90 seconds drive from town. Best suited for 2 couples and 2 kids. Great value for sure.

Home away from home!

The Marjalis cottage was a beautiful quaint little home that was perfect for my little family of 5! Beautifully decorated inside and clean with all the amenities included and needed for any family to function, it definitely made you feel like you were in a home away from home. Although we spent most of the daytime in Philip Island (30 min drive), it was exciting knowing we would be coming back to a lovely place. Rachel was such a wonderful person to speak with right from the beginning until days after we left. She made that extra step to customise the bedrooms for my little boys with super hero pillows/decor and they loved every bit of it! Will definitely recommend and come back if we decide to stay in the area again. Thanks Marjalis!
