This place was such a great find. The photos don’t do it justice- it’s adorable inside and out. The first thing we noticed walking in was a very faint smell of fresh paint- to me, that just showed how the owners are actively maintaining it. Nicely styled with comfortable furniture. Good small touches- I forgot to pack a razor and they had a stock of toiletries offered, and I loved one of their bedside table books so much that I ended up buying it for home. Our dog loved her guest-bed-in-a-drawer. We couldn’t believe she chose that over her own bed that we brought! The small fenced yard was great for letting her out, and mostly shady for a cool place for us to relax. It’s close to a hospital and a highway, but you hear none of it from the inside. Great little neighborhood to walk around. If we need a place in the area again, we would definitely go back.

This was a great landing spot while visiting the area for furniture market. It was convenient to the interstate which is great for us. We were able to hop on interstate and head to high point with ease. It is also convenient to great restaurants.

This was our second trip to the cozy bungalow in Winston-Salem. We enjoy it and feel right at home each time. The place is always immaculate and our dog is happy there each time. Will definitely be returning there in the future.

It's very clear that our hosts put a lot of thought into each detail of this rental. It was such a lovely place to stay! Though close to the interstate, it was surprisingly quiet. We didn't even need to use the thoughtfully included white noise machines while we slept. The kitchen is very nice—and we greatly appreciated the included coffee pods. Thank you so much for sharing your space. We'd love to come back someday.

Such care has been taken to ensure the comfort of the guests in this lovely home which is cozy, inviting, and very comfortable. Snacks in the kitchen, toothbrushes, hair care, and even a face mask product in the bathroom, comfortable beds, and a fenced yard for the dogs. Al this and interesting art work on the walls and care and attention to details are evident!
Juniper seemed right at home.
Jasper especially enjoyed chasing his ball in the back yard.

This was by far our best Vrbo experience. This bungalow is right in Winston Salem yet feels private and secluded. You will feel like you are staying in someone's home, not just a rental. The entire experience is calm, welcoming, and peaceful.

The host is very responsive. The house is great and has much more than what we were expecting. Even the back neighbor and puppy are awesome! The kitchen is functional and allowed me to cook daily. It was comfortable and our dog felt at home too. Ample space in the backyard for play. The only thing I would suggest is that the house is due for new mattresses. If that is updated, the house would be perfect!

Best vacation rental home

Stayed a week while we dropped off our daughter for a summer program at Wake Forest. The house was well lit from the outside which made it easy to use the simple comb door lock as we arrived after dark. The house is spacious, has very comfortable seating in the living room nice dining table and great kitchen. So many amenities from snacks, teas and coffees and sugar and cream, to soaps, make up remover, toothbrushes and toothpastes lotion and even face scrub and face masks, plenty of toilet paper. The noise from the freeway near by was nothing plus the rooms had sound machines. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the live plants made it so homelike!

This was a comfortable stay for my husband, our doggy and me. I had an appointment at the Eye Center at Wake Forest University Hospital, and we chose this rental based on its proximity to the hospital. Everything was clean, and there were doggy treats for Lucy. We enjoyed our stay!

Great home with character

Check in was smooth. Home is an older home that the host has put in the right amount of TLC. It has a perfect vibe for a getaway. The neighborhood and home were perfect for our dog to get in walks. Neighborhood is also near everything important in WS. Would definitely rebook for a stay!

Cute and funky -- with lots of nice extra touches

Our stay was very nice. The house was cute with lots of interesting handmade furniture, art, objects, decor. Compared to other places I've stayed, this house had lot of little extras that we discovered over our 2 nights there. Travis was quick to reply to my messages. We'd love to stay there again the next time we plan a trip to Winston-Salem.
