The house and location was amazing. Our host was especially nice and very quick in responding to my messages to her. The house and grounds were beautiful and very comfortable. The views of the lake from the back covered deck were simply grand and yet relaxing. My group have stayed at a variety of vrbo locations over the past few years and they all said, ‘wow, you really hit it out of the ballpark this time’, meaning they were most impressed with my selection of this vacation rental.

July 4th Lake Escape

We had 10 adults and 2 babies for our Lake Escape. The kitchen was beautiful and very functional. We really enjoyed all the counter space and island for prepping the meals. We were happy to find an extra small fridge in the garage for extra food storage. All amenities were exactly as described.

Great family stay

We enjoyed spending special family time. The kitchen is perfect for a multi family gathering. Liked having multiple spaces to eat, play games, a do crafts. Having the kayaks (adult and kid size) was wonderful. Realized we were one kayak short late in the week and could have used all that were stated in the description. The kids loved fishing off the dock! Having kids fishing poles was a huge hit! We had to borrow another little kid life jacket from a friend. We rented a boat for the day and the dock was easy to use for that as well as for swimming. Love that there wasn't a steep grade down to the water and we could see the lake. We had to clean and sweep off the deck, spray a few wasp nests and get rid of a bird nest that was in one of the chairs. But brooms and bee spray were readily available. We look forward to renting again.

Family reunion 2024

Beautiful and Comfortable Stay

We stayed here for a staff retreat and comfortably had 10 people stay. It's spacious, beautiful, and clean, and the layout is awesome. There's a grocery store nearby for quick runs and close to pickleball courts and hiking. It's right on the lake with an awesome back yard and deck to make mornings and evenings extra great.

Fall Break Getaway

This was a beautiful house with all of the amenities we could possibly need. There was so much room to spread out and we loved the outdoor fire pit and being able to walk down to the lake. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the downstairs was very large and open with lots of room for 2 teenagers, a seven year old and 5 adults to spread out and have different activities going on at the same time. My grandchildren are already asking when we can go back!

Stay was wonderful the only thing that we made work was we had 2 boats and 2 jet skis the pier is not that big but we knew it was just a pier. Thanks again for the use of your beautiful home

Amazing Lake Home

I grew up in Winchester, and my parent live on the lake. I have stayed in many properties on the lake, and this is by far the best! This custom home is well built and designed to accommodate multiple guests. It is very comfortable with beautiful decor and appliances. I will definitely be back!!! The communication and check in was seamless.

Perfect lake house

Our family stayed here for a week for my mother's 70th birthday and everyone had an amazing time. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean, we loved evenings on the back deck, and the lake was great! The location can't be beat. Also, communication with the host was a breeze. We can't wait to go back!

Wow! This place is a must stay!

Our group checked in on Friday evening with ease and were blown away by the beauty of this home! Everything was so nice and clean. The listing is exactly as described. We plan to make this a tradition and stay here for years to come! The boat dock was right down the road and made it quick and easy to launch the boats for a boat day. Blue Gill is about 30-20 minute boat ride and Twin Creeks Marina is right across the water from the boat launch. Again, we truly loved this property and there was plenty of room for our group of 16!

Great lake getaway

5 Stars for this property. From the moment you walk-in you will start to feel the happiness and joy set in. I booked this property for a family getaway and it quickly became so much more than that. The meals and laughter that we shared in the large open kitchen, the drinks and stories that were shared as we all gather outside on the patio area, the laughter of the kids as they learned how to paddle board, there just seemed to something for everyone. Now, that Ishared all the good, i would also like to share some upgraded that i would like to see for our next visit at this property. We all wished there was some type of sitting area near the water so that we could have enjoyed that area more. Also, some lighting by the dock area would be a huge plus. Even though there is lighting going down the path to the water, it was very dark at the dock area, itself. But, even with my wishlist, it was still a great property and with a very convenient location.

Great rental!

This property is fantastic! Much better than the photos! Kitchen is well stocked and beds comfy. We spent most our time on the oversized back porch, perfect shady spot during a hot day or to play games on during a rainstorm. We will def be back!
