This property was better than advertised!Beautiful setting with a rooftop patio with “rock” lounge chairs. Nice view, but the removal of a couple trees would enhance the view. Even with a second property right next door, you had a feeling of privacy. There was a hot tub for two just outside the door, and it was heated when we arrived! What a treat at sundown after dinner.Speaking of food. Be sure to bring food for grilling and breakfast. There is a full kitchen, with fridge, stove and dishwasher. But I used the outdoor gas grill to cook our steaks for dinner. The indoor stove was perfect for omelettes at breakfast. We had to go to Ingles in Trenton to buy provisions, but the kitchen is stocked with salt, pepper, cayenne, lemon pepper and a few other condiments. Pans, pots and cooking utensils are provided. The queen size bed is nice and was right below a skylight. Got lucky, the moon was visible thru the skylight as we went to bed. A nice treat. The bath is roomy enough with plenty of pressure and hot water.One of my favorite touches was an “old fashioned” phonograph. Inside the secretary near the bed we found quite a few albums to play. To our delight was a Sears collection of eight vinyl albums. Mostly Big Band style music, a couple Spanish style dance music. The music made the atmosphere idealic!!! Give it a try or bring your own vinyl.The cabin would be tough to find in the dark, I would recommend arriving during daylight. Overall, a great place for a couple!!!
