This is the second time we've stayed here and it was just as nice this time as last. The hotel has a historic feel and wonderfully well-kept. The staff is friendly and the location is excellent. Great restaurants within walking distance and even a Farmers Market on Saturday.

Hotel at Old Town is a gem

This is just such a nice place in every way. Atmosphere is apparent as you're walking in, there's 20s era music playing which ties right into the character of the place. Very recently remodeled and updated everywhere. Great staff. The rooms are wonderfully done, fresh and spotless. As good as it gets.

Gorgeous hotel with fun history

My husband loves antique hardware and old planes so this hotel in the heart of downtown Wichita was a destination by itself on our trip. We walked all the hallways looking at all the wonderful pictures of hardware, downtown and aviation history in Wichita. The room had a great view and was clean, comfortable and spacious. There were a lot of small touches that made it fun and comfortable.

I absolutely love this hotel. It's beautiful. However, Downtown Wichita is deeply unsafe. I kid you not, on 1 September, 2025, at 2AM, right outside of my window I was woken by gunfire. Not a few rounds, but active gunfire. Police of course stormed the scene and sirens went on for 30 minutes. I learned later that morning a man was killed outside the bar across the street.... Travel to Wichita at your own risk.

Get Away to Wichita

Great hotel with a superior location for walking around the Old Town area. Saturday morning Farmer's market was right across street with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking. Fabulous decor in the hotel, modern motif and incredible water pressure in the shower. Free parking garage for guests.
