Rooms are very clean. Beautiful view from the living room. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Great wifi & internet. A portable induction stove is available. A full size cooking stove/oven would be nice.

Absolutely incredible stay at this adorable and simply perfect cottage! Perfect place to recharge and connect with nature. This cottage has everything you need for a perfect get away. Very clean, well kept and super functional. There is literally everything available on-site to fully enjoy everything this perfectly located cottage has to offer. Super close (6min drive) to cutest small town that has all your essentials and more. The host was a pleasure to deal with and was readily available to reply to any questions or recommendations. Cannot say enough great things, we will definitely be back!

We had a great week at the cottage in Cobden. Andre was great at communicating everything we needed to know before we arrived and was quick to respond to messages. The cottage is comfortable, and had all the basics needed for the week. We loved watching the sunset every night, and BBQing on the deck overlooking the water. Lots of space for lawn games, and feels very private from the neighbours. Easy access to the lake from the shore, a few weeds and rocks, but not too difficult to navigate. Renters should be aware the lake is known to have algae blooms in the summer. There were 2 days the lake was not swimmable during our stay. We made the best of it though and had a great time at the Petawawa beach. Amazing ice cream stand overlooking the river just down from the beach!

Very nice and cozy cottage, the view is perfect and morning on the deck and the amazing sunsets were beautiful.Great place to relax and enjoy some tranquility. If you plan on swimming, I'd strongly recommend a google search about Muskrat lake and Cobden public beach. IDd also put curtains in the bedrooms as they are on the side of the sunrise. This was the perfect cottage getaway. Waterfront serenity and the cottage was equipped with everything you could ever need. Comfortable beds and living space with a fully equipped kitchen. Right down to the finest details of salt and pepper and a Keurig for coffee. Would definitely recommend this little slice of heaven. Owner was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely book again.

We had an excellent time at Andre’s property. It was very convenient for our family. The checkin process was smooth and there were ample information available in the Welcome kit to help us familiarize the home. The location of the property was perfect to provide your family complete privacy. My kids enjoyed the floats, board games, Kayak and Canoe. There were ample amount of Safety jackets for the family. It was definitely a memorable trip for our family. Will definitely book the property again in the future.

Beautiful location with beautiful sunsets on the lake. Place is extremely clean and host provided all the info for a great stay. Easy access to local sights yet quiet enough to enjoy nature and the beautiful sound of a loon on the lake.We were lucky to find this place and have such an enjoyable stay. Looking forward to returning!

We had an amazing time. The cottage was perfect for a young family and there was lots to enjoy. It was relaxing, we loved using the canoe and lounging on the nice deck! Andre was a great communicator and we appreciated that he went above and beyond in helping us retrieve something we left behind. Definitely recommend!

An amazing first time getaway for my family

We were visiting from Dunrobin. It was the perfect getaway for our 6 yr old autistic son and 4 year old daughter. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved jumping off the dock into the water for a swim. We enjoyed Dans pizza, BBQs, and the Chip Pit. We laughed over smores over the fire. The air conditioning helped the hot days and we appreciated the comfortable beds. We also took a family trip 5 mins down the road to Splash Valley. The host was friendly and reliable. Would recommend- 10/10!

Cobden Getaway

We really enjoyed this comfortable cottage. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. The lake was beautiful and calm making kayaking easy. Bring your own water shoes to enjoy the lake but if you forget there are some available in the cottage. Great WiFi so perfect for work and play.

My family and I spent Father’s Day weekend at Andre’s cottage and had a wonderful time! The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - great kitchen supplies, towels, board games, kayaks and a super fun blow-up island to hang out on the water! He was very responsive and even allowed late check out when asked! If you’re thinking about it, book it! We will definitely be back!
