With 1,162 square feet spread across three cozy levels, you’ll love coming home to the inviting living room, featuring a comfy sofa and a wood-burning fireplace—ideal for relaxing after a day of fun in the mountains! The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and there's a lovely private deck just off the kitchen where you can enjoy peekaboo views of Whitefish Lake.
Head upstairs to the loft area, where you’ll find a sofa that doubles as a bed, a comfy bean bag chair, and a flat-screen TV for movie nights. Downstairs, the two bedrooms each come with cozy queen-sized beds, and there’s an additional bathroom at the end of the hallway for your convenience.

Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park.
Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

Ptarmigan Village is a quiet community, nestled in a cedar forest, on the slope of The Big Mountain. This unit is near one of Montana’s finest ski resorts. Whitefish Resort links you to 3000 acres (98 trails) where you can enjoy some world-class skiing. The ski resort is well known for a pleasant variety of runs, short waits in line, and for its consistently good snow conditions, on average 300 inches a year! City Beach at Whitefish Lake is also only 15 minutes away!

Ptarmigan Village offers many amenities that you and your group will get to enjoy. You have access to the pool building that includes an indoor saltwater swimming pool, a large outdoor hot tub, and a sauna. Next to the pool building is a playground for the children. In summer, the outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing, or you can take a drive down to Ptarmigan`s private beach on Whitefish Lake where you can take a swim and revel in a gorgeous sunset. Hiking is right out your door with 52 acres to roam. We have two newly resurfaced tennis courts if you want to get in a game. Elmer`s Pond is stocked with trout each spring for children to try their luck. You owe it to yourself to stay in this luxurious Ptarmigan Village Home.
Other Things to Note:
The condo furnishes each reservation with a starter set of consumables that includes sample size shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, sponges for dishes, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, kitchen and bathroom towels. Once this starter set is exhausted, it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase additional provisions.

The whole experience was exceptional. The size of the condo was perfect and clean,comfortable. Parking was perfect. We enjoyed the pool, hottub, sauna. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful. They gave us an hour departure extension on Sunday which was much appreciated.
Nice space to relax after skiing. The hot tub/ pool was on the other side of the property, not within walking distance which put it beyond our interest. Otherwise, great experience!
love staying in Ptarmagan Village every time we visit Whitefish and the convenience of 5 min drive to the mtn is key as well as easy drive into town......love the ambiance and general low key vibeonly downside was WiFi was spotty the last two days and kept fading in an out intermittently making internet connection a bit annoying especially trying to do certain activities
We had a great stay at Ptarmigan Village! It was a great home base for us. We especially loved the deck and loft! The pictures show the living room having to large sets of windows, but the sliding door to the left of the couch actually goes to a balcony for another unit, so you can’t use it. We also kept the blinds shut to give the other group privacy, making the living room dark. Otherwise, it was as pictured. We would definitely stay again.
Nice property, but small. The upstairs loft was the third bedroom. We ate our meals outside on the lovely deck. I can’t imagine where you would put the table in order to open up to seat 6.The small kitchen is stocked well, but there is no place to put any groceries.The staff at the office were friendly. The property was clean, beds were comfortable.
