Looks can be deceiving. This place appears to be a motel-style establishment from the Route 66 era, but the rooms inside have been renovated. It smelled clean, and the room was bright. Only two caveats to note. The water pressure is low. The location is between an interstate and well-traveled road. If you know that, your stay will be well-worth the price

My husband and I stayed the night. It was nice. 45 minutes from JFK airport we got in really late and the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean, bed comfortable, plain looking overall. Smaller than anticipated but doable. Bathroom was very small. There wasn’t much room to sit on the toilet as the wall was right in front of it.Free breakfast was good with cold, cereals, and muffins and bagels. Staff was very nice in the morning.

I will not repeat what others have noted (e.g., it's in fact a motel, not a hotel, don't come here for the breakfast, it's conceivable that there might be a nearly microscopic stain on otherwise well laundered and immaculate sheets, and so on), except to say that "motel" is a portmanteau of "motor hotel." A motel is by definition very close to expressways. There are two that converge here, I-87 and the Sawmill River Parkway. The motel's heyday was the 1950s. That's when this one was built. It's been renovated. It's not a chain. It has reasonably comfortable beds. What others have not noted: a major rails-to-trails path passes right behind the gazebo you see in the photograph. It goes miles in both directions, runs along a creek and is gorgeous, especially in the summer. The little towns along the Hudson in this part of Westchester county (Hastings, Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry) are extremely picturesque. This is NOTHING like a motel situated in the fluorescent dead zone you find in almost every other part of the country. It's very reasonably priced. If you want the Park Plaza, reserve the Park Plaza. Otherwise, this place is fine.

A great place. Newly renovated. We stayed in room 13. Comfy bed. Very clean and well appointed. Pillow are foam and uncomfortable. Management should put ashtrays outside to keep smokers cigarette butts from littering the sidewalk.

If you are looking for an hourly hotel maybe?

Upon check in we were told we reserved a smoking room, which we hadn’t. The person at check in was fantastic and offered a different room, even let us check it out first. A couple of things were a little off and was then offered that a room would be available at 10pm — it’s an hourly hotel and so we left since neither myself nor spouse nor kids are CEOs at a Coldplay concert.
