Inside the cabin you'll find a completely remodeled quntesential waterfront cabin in the woods. Pine covered walls as well as original hand hewn wood beams overhead add rustic charm that makes this space feel warm and inviting.
Enjoy all the comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a keurig coffee maker (coffee pods included), side by side refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser, gas stove/oven, and a dishwasher. Kitchen also includes several pots, pans, bowls, silverware, glasses, coffee cups, bakeware, including cookie sheets, cake pans, & casserole dishes as well as several other kitchen gadgets like a crock pot, can opener, wine bottle opener, spatulas, etc...
Upstairs youll find a private bedroom with majestic lakeviews . Deer are often spotted walking outside thesse windows. A new queen size bed with memory foam mattress topper and freshly laundered bedding as well as blackout shades on all bedroom windows will make you want to snuggle up and sleep in.
The lower level living room includes a pull out sofa bed, two comfy new recliners, and a. 58" 4K smart TV. Separated by custom made sliding barn doors, the sunroom/dining room, with huge picture windows overlooking the peaceful private lake, offers a flexible space for relaxing or for sleeping extra guests with a brand new comfy log futon that easily sleeps two adults.
Full bathroom with shower, toilet and 30" vanity includes fresh towels, toilet paper and hair dryer and body soap. We also have soft water!
Outside property includes two outdoor patios. The upper deck near the entrance has an outdoor patio set with seating for four as well as a gas grill with propane provided. From the upper deck there is a short gently sloped path leading down to the firepit, lower patio, with picnic table that seats eight adults and just a few more steps and you will reach the private dock.
Bring your fishing pole as this lake has many fish including panfish and largemouth bass. We are also located right next to one of the top 10 muskie lakes in Wisconsin. The ATV/UTV trails connect directly to our road.
We are also just a short drive to downtown Chetek. There you'll find the cutest little town on the 6 lake chain. Chetek offers many unique gift shops, cofee shops, farmers markets, flea markets and antique stores. On the main street (2nd Street) there's also an actual drive-in restaurant where the waitresses deliver food right to your car window. You'll also find several other bars & restaurants, many of which have outdoor patios right on the lake and/or have live music offerings.Just outside of town there's even an old school drive in theater.
If hiking is your thing, the amazingly beautiful Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Trail and interpretive Center is just a short drive away (13 miles). There you will find hiking trails, along the path where the glaciers ended, leaving behind pristine glacial landscapes, a series of ice-walled lake plains and kettle lakes. It also passes through the North Shattuck Lake State Natural Area, an area well-known as a birding paradise. Our cabin is also within several miles of designated public hunting areas, Potato Creek State Wildlife Area, and just 20 miles from Christie Mountain Ski Resort.

It's the law in Wisconsin that All vessels (including canoes, kayaks, row boats and pedal boats) must have at least one USCG-approved wearable life jacket for each person on board.
