Clemson Ring Weekend

Excellent location to campus, easy drive to get to the football stadium and Littlejohn. Kayaks, floating dock, and fire pit allow for a wide variety of activities!

Labor Day Weekend

Located in a quiet channel away from the main boating areas. Property is dated. It has many spider webs and leaves. Decent area to fish. We caught bluegill, bass, catfish and a turtle. Kids wanted this place because the listing said it had a game table.."The foosball table converts to a pool table, air hockey table and shuffleboard table, offering hours of fun " BUT THIS WAS NOT HERE. THERE IS NO GAME TABLE OF ANY KIND. So, no hours of fun... It still says they have this.? Owner was helpful with getting the college football game on the TV.

Cozy Lake House

This place was perfect for our family trip! Beautiful scenery and plenty of space. The WiFi can get a little iffy when too many people are connected, but stepping onto the back porch and looking out at the lake was enough to get good cell service 😉 The host is very attentive and checked on us each day. 10/10 would stay here again!

Great trip

Well equipped house that’s right on the lake. They had kayaks and paddle boards, a Lilly pad which the kids loved along with plenty of lifejackets.

Enjoyed time with family

5 adults and 3 children - we stayed for a family reunion. The house had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves for the weekend. Super quiet. The view is spectacular. We will return! Thank you so much.

Peaceful get away at the lake!

We had a wonderful week relaxing at Lake Keowee for the week. We enjoyed long days on the dock, splashing on the lily pad, fishing, sitting on the shaded deck and just being together. The house had all we needed for a family of 11, ranging in age from 11 years old to 75 years old. The kids enjoyed kayak rides and relaxing downstairs in the basement too. The weather was perfect, the two story dock was awesome, the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed, and the location was super convenient to Walhalla, Seneca and Clemson. We truly had a great week!

Unmet Expectations

Older home ... very nice, new boat dock and house nice and clean inside, but deck badly needs pressure washing and stain ... windows had a lot of febris and spider webs ... same with porch furniture ... property a bit overgrown with weeds ... while advertised to sleep 15, more accurately should state 8 adults and 4 children (bunk beds) ... also, dining table only seats 6 comfortably ... we had 14 and house was very crowded for meals and living room ... host/owner very nice and accomodating for our boat docking

Family wedding

The property was in a great location. We rented a boat and brought it right up to the dock. Some of the party fished while the others just relaxed. Chas was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. Overall a great stay.

Peaceful weekend

My family and had a wonderful time, was so peaceful wake up in the morning listening to the birds and have breakfast on the deck. We went to our daughter ring ceremony at Clemson and this house was just 15 minutes away We also rented a boat for 2 days and had the convenience to dock in the property, lake is beautiful we had a wonderful time fishing and swimming. I recommend this house Thank you Chras to share your house !

Almost Perfect

The property in itself was absolutely beautiful. It was as described… however more lighting on the entryway and lighting on the mailbox to see the address would be great… The dishes however, we’re not clean and there were things under the sofa maybe looks like it should’ve been swept getting in was easy Peezy and the host was very responsive. I would definitely rent this place again.!

Our After Christmas Visit

House was clean and orderly. Wi-Fi was hard to maintain with several people using at one time. We were able to celebrate our Christmas and 70 th birthdays. Family had a great time. Host is exceptionally kind.

Great weekend getaway!

We rented this house for a weekend with family and friends. Our children were participating in the SC Bass Nation HS fishing tournament. House and accommodations were perfect for all of us. The boys especially loved the downstairs, kayaks, paddle boards, and Lily pad. Only issue is if you’re bring bass boats and trailers with you the driveway is extremely steep and you can’t get them down in there and pull them out easily due to the incline. We just put the boats in the water at a near by cove and then docked them. We had to park the trailers on the road. We would stay there again for sure. Owner was very responsive with all of our questions and answered promptly.

Wonderful house and host!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, accommodating home! We were there for a mother-daughter retreat, and the downstairs space was perfect for the girls. Plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The kayaks were great to have, as well as the fire pit. Host was very responsive and helpful. Very close to stores, and we drove to Issaquena Falls for a short walk and beautiful view. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay! (One thing to note, the downstairs bathroom is in the bedroom, so anyone sleeping in the bunk room will need to go through the bedroom or upstairs to use the bathroom.)

Lake weekend

A nice house to celebrate our 11 year old twins birthday! The dock was amazing and the kayaks and paddle boards and Lily pad were an awesome treat. We stayed in the water the whole weekend! The grandchildren caught a lot of fish from the kayaks and the shoreline. We did bring our boat and the driveway is steep! Also no ramp close by . Also a little way to open water suitable for skiing or tubing— lots of no wake zones. No reflection on the property—just probably would not bring boat if we stay here again. Overall a great experience. Host is very easy to work with.

Weekend Stay

This was a brief weekend trip with friends. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend as much time at the house as we would have liked since we were all visiting kids at Clemson and plans shifted. However, I would recommend this lake house for both short or longer stays. Very clean and spacious interior that has been nicely updated. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with updated en suite baths. The dock is amazing and provides wonderful lake views from the quiet cove. Chas was very responsive when we reached out with questions. We would definitely stay again when we can enjoy the lake more.

Great getaway

This is such a great spot to really get away and enjoy family & friends on the water. Chas was an amazing host, very communicative and quick to respond. The house has everything we needed, and a quick ride to anything you might need. Highly recommend!

Week at the lake

Our family 7 adults 4 kids rented this house for a week for our yearly family vacation. One thing not listed is the driveway, it’s STEEP. Nothing terrible, I asked if there was room for more than one boat trailer in the driveway and was told there was, which there is but we were never told the driveway was so steep and narrow, made backing trailers down slightly challenging. If we weren’t experienced we wouldn’t have backed them in. The listing says the house is newly renovated…. The bathrooms are all updated. The basement has a sliding door with no curtains or anything for privacy with the lights on at night anyone can see in. The stairs to the basement are very steep! My 34 year old sister slipped the first day there and got pretty bruised up. The house isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing but it was very comfortable, our family really enjoyed it. The new dock is AMAZING we were able to catch a good bit of fish off the dock too. It would be nice if power was tan to the dock for some dock lights. We tied up a few times after dark and had to use flashlights. The house really is in the perfect location, there are two waterfalls pretty close. We took the boat pretty close to both then paddle boarded the rest of the way. The house also has some kayaks and things for everyone to use, they are in great condition all the kids had a blast with them! Overall our stay was amazing, the house is fully stocked with all the things you could need. Will book again!

Family Vacation

Our grandson from Boston was visiting so the rest of our family joined. Parking was more than adaquate as we had 15 people and one brought a boat. We enjoyed the deck and especially all the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The owner was easy to communicate with. The bedrooms were on the smaller side but we spent most of our time outdoors or in the living area.

Lakeside

We had a great weekend spent at this beautiful lakeside property with our sons and their families. The weather was beautiful Friday and Saturday and on Sunday when it was rainy we fished off the brand new two tiered deck and caught lots of fish. Canadian geese floated by each morning and late afternoon and the kids loved feeding them. The home is well stocked with water sport gear and the kitchen has everything you will need. Owners are very gracious!
