Terrible room conditions

The condition of room was poor. Shower drain was badly clogged. The iron was broken. Light bulb was out on lamp. The fridge was not cooling. Mattresses were at least 10 years old and very uncomfortable. This in no way reflected on the front desk. They were kind and professional.

I was surprised by the deposit of $100. It's not a deal breaker but it may be something the hotel would like to put on Expedia, as it might adversely affect someone in the future.

This property needs updating badly. There was pealing paint in bathroom and the sheets had stains on them. The furniture was old and worn. Taking my dogs out to go to the bathroom there is trash everywhere. The staff told us they would have a plated breakfast for us and made us fill out a form when we checked in of what we wanted and then we went to pick up the plates the next morning and they didn’t have them. We paid too much for this hotel.

There was a hole in the bathroom wall that looked like someone had stuffed tissue paper into to try to hide the hole. There was a dust ball that resided behind the bathroom door the entire week that we were there even after housekeeping cleaned the bathroom. We called down to the desk about 2:00 AM because the room next to ours was so loud that it woke both of us up.
