Our family of four adults appreciated all the attention to detail provided during our three-night stay. From pantry items to having available items like tooth brushes and cords for electronics, we felt welcome. We could walk to Whole Foods and Blue Back Square. We will most assuredly consider this home on our next visit to West Hartford. Thank you!

Beautiful house with so many thoughtful, useful touches (bedside chargers, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of nice towels, etc). Everything was so clean and welcoming, and the neighborhood was close to a variety of shops and restaurants. We had a comfortable, relaxing, fantastic stay, and would love to come back!

Birthday Celebrations

We were in town to celebrate birthdays and Ash Wednesday. We loved the house! It’s perfect from the aesthetics to the location. I cannot rave enough about this rental! The host is gracious and responsive highly recommend this rental.

Great house!

The house had a ideal floorplan. The first bedroom had its own large bathroom and the second bathroom serviced our guests (three adult children). The house was really clean and large and had everything we needed. Just a tad cold upstairs (I think because of the age of the house) but we just turned the heat up to take care of that. The only complaint I would have is that it does have a side entrance (not front) which was a little confusing when we got there. After that it was fine! We enjoyed our stay and would select this house again.

Exceeded expectations

This home was very well appointed and in the absolute best location. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and the kitchen and baths had everything you need. Check in was seamless and Mark was very responsive and an excellent host. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas in West Hartford

Was born and raised in West Hartford. Parents moved into a local independent living property recently and we needed a house for Christmas. We couldn’t have made a better choice. House was everything it claimed to be. While it was way too cold for Floridians like us to walk to Blueback and the Center, both are definitely walkable. Will absolutely return and use Mark’s properties again in the future. Book it!

West Hartford Gem

Our expectations were exceeded. The house was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen. Location of the house is excellent, only a couple of blocks away from Blue Back Square. We could walk to the library with my 2 grandchildren or drive to the Children's Museum in less than 10 minutes. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay at this house again.

It is an older home, maybe even historic.

It is an older home, maybe even historic. The inside has been updated and is very nice. The appliances are new and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our visit there.

Great location, great house.

This property and its location were perfect for our stay in Connecticut for family celebrations. Not only is West Hartford a great town to visit with all of its restaurants and shops, it’s close to the interstate and centrally located to many towns in north central CT that we were never more than 30 minutes from where we needed to be.

Great Location and Clean!

Our family loved this home! While an older home, the home was very clean and well-appointed. From chargers stationed in bedrooms, to small toiletries in case we forgot something, to everything we'd need in the kitchen, and to cold water in the fridge, Mark really made our stay comfortable and easy. The location cannot be beat, especially for the fair price! We were visiting a student at Trinity College and had an easy drive there. West Hartford is such a neat town. We walked the Trout Brook trail easily by catching an entrance just around the corner, walked to Whole Foods, walked to Dunkin' many times and just enjoyed being able to walk around town and back to the house easily. We found parks and playgrounds for the kids, and great food. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, acclect home in a great location

We had a great time in the home. My family of 5 stayed to explore the area. We were central to everything. There was a slight delay entering the property that was resolved very quickly and with no issue. Mark was very responsive. The home itself was very acclectic and fun. We felt very comfortable there. It was also stocked with many thoughtful items such as bottled water, ear plugs, books, etc. to help make our stay comfortable. It was a short walk to several blocks of amenities in West Hartford. We will plan to stay again if we're in the area.

Clean house and great location

Convenient - clean - all the amenities

Great stay in West Hartford for a 2 day lacrosse event. Check in was easy, communication with Mark was speedy and the house had everything we needed including the ability to wash some dirty clothes. Fresh coffee and water supplied and nice evening walks to town for dinner. Cannot beat the location.

Great Escape

In town for our daughters graduation. The home was perfect in every way! Clean, all rooms are a good size, nicely situated kitchen, beautiful deck for socializing, our guests did not feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies. Everything in good working condition. The home has antique charm with updated benefits. The host Mark was easy to communicate with. We walked to town and loved every part of our weekend! Its a must! Perfect for my weekend trip

The location was amazing! Although on a busy street, it was quiet and still a perfect walking distance from everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. The host was super easy to reach and the home was clean and well stocked with essentials.

Beautiful Home Close to Downtown West Hartford

The house was exactly as pictured - beautiful and super clean! The beds were also very comfortable, showers had great water pressure, and it was a quick walk to the main area of downtown West Hartford with delicious restaurants and fun shops. I also enjoyed walking my dog on the Trout Brook Trail, just across the little river from the house! I’d definitely stay here again in the future.

Felt Like Home

Quaint historic property, perfect for our stay in the West Hartford area. Situated conveniently to the town center with easy access to the highway. Property was well equipped with basic amenities, very well maintained and clean, spacious rooms with tasteful decor, lots of attention to detail. Exceeded My expectations

I don’t even know where to start!! While making our reservation I had issues with Affirm and then VRBO and yet Mark had infinite patience. When I thought I was inconveniencing everyone, he just kept saying “no worries”. I should’ve known that was a sign of things to come. Perfect and friendly communication Spotless home Easy checkin and checkout Responding to questions within minutes Little details that made a huge difference Beautiful home ! The bathrooms had more than a bough towels and full sized toiletries! There were also small toiletries in case you forgot something (toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, shaving cream, etc) The bedrooms had chargers with three types of connections on each nightstand. Coffee and water bottles in the kitchen Board games and cards in the living room The kitchen command center has all the time information you would need for events and info about West Hartford. Walking distance to stores and restaurants! There were absolutely no shortcuts taken. If I need to return to West Hartford I will not hesitate to rebook!! Mark, thank you for the best VRBO experience we have ever had!!
