May long weekend
The cottage itself is perfect. All the amenities listed were present and available for use. Even though we were a last minute booking our host made it possible to get use of the boats described as well even though they were still tucked away from the winter storage. My only criticism would be the road, which is out of the control of the host. You have to cross the road to gain access to the water, which is actually a fairly busy road. Fine for adults obviously, but caused for some concern with our smaller humans. All in all it was a good weekend. Would recommend some serious bug spray for this time of year as the area is full of cedars( mosquito haven).

Amazing Place with everything you need
This by far has been the best place I have stayed at. The house is so clean, perfectly furnished, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The outdoor gas barbecue was so powerful and clean. The Mud Room at the entrance made it very convenient to leave our muddy shoes/clothing behind. Lots of sleeping room with three bedrooms, the owner also left us some inflatable mattresses to accommodate additional guests. The owner is extremely helpful, she gave me her personal number and was very responsive to messages with any questions I had. Everyone was so pleased with their stay, we are looking forward to go back next year and some of us are planning to take our families for our next vacation.

What a find...
Quick summary - We were very happy with this VRBO and highly recommend it if you're a large group that is looking for a nice (and affordable) getaway. From outside to in... The location is super convenient. Close to lots of places worth visiting. Blue Mountain, Sauble or Wasaga beach, the Bruce Trail... Irish Lake is great with cottages all around, but not crowded. It takes about an hour to go around it with the two SUP boards or Kayak provided. There's a dock to sit and watch fish feed from over a glass of wine. The backyard goes a long way. It's hilly, but worth it. It has a fire pit at the back so bring your marshmallows and live life. Calories don't count on vacation. The deck is big enough for 8 people to sit comfortably and enjoy the fresh clean air. The cottage is gorgeous. It's not a cottage in my mind, it's a very nice house. Everything you need is there. Free (and fast) WIFI, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, huge TV with some movies to watch, a great hard plumbed BBQ, and more. The kitchen is fantastic with the best drinking water right out of the tap. Full stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc... I'm not kidding, it's not what I expected in a cottage. This is a really nice home away from home. Lots of room for a couple cooks to do their magic. All of the beds were comfortable and made for some great sleeps. The owner / operator is very pleasant and responsive. In summary, we highly recommend this gem and plan on going back.

Wonderful
Beautiful property...nice and quiet but close enough to town. Best cottage experience we have had. Perfect for our family vacation. The welcome book /basket was very helpful for finding things in the area. Will definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Well appointed chalet
This nicely decorated chalet comfortably housed and slept 8 - 6 adults and 2 children. The host has thought of everything to make the stay perfect - from every kitchen tool imaginable and new barbecue to the welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and hand written card. The lake is not great for swimming but fabulous for boating with the paddle boards, kayak and peddle boat provided.

Senior summer camp
We are seven senior friends who gather annually from Toronto,Ohio,Florida Michigan and Maine. The accommodations were excellent the water access and use of amenities (kayak, paddle boat)a little more difficult for seniors. All in all we were very happy with our stay and with our host.

Relaxing week at beautiful chalet
Our family of five spent a wonderful week at Jadranka's chalet. We were impressed by the newly renovated and beautifully decorated cottage. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, nicely labeled and organized. We enjoyed the backyard (which is actually a clearing in the forest) where we played outdoor games and listened to the birds' songs. The cottage has plenty of useful maps and pamphlets with information about the area. We chose to go hiking on several trails to see the waterfalls in the area and we visited the towns of Markdale and Flesherton. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent Getaway
These accommodations were the best in the sense that the host thought of everything. We were provided with games, puzzles, full chef's kitchen, smart TV, BBQ, paddle boat, paddle boards, and kayak. They even provided beach towels for use by the lake. The lake itself is beautiful and in a quiet area. The house is nestled just across the street from the lake, and has a gorgeous front and backyard. My husband and I stayed in the amazing second floor suite with king size bed ensuite bathroom and WIC. Really made it feel like a home away from home. Our two friends stayed in the great sized bedrooms; two bedrooms on the main floor. Looking forward to make this getaway a regular occurrence!
