Really liked that its across the road from a shop and literally down the road from many food choices. My one complaint is no toaster or microwave.

Réception friendly and accommodating Room clean and adequate, sufficient for a loo two night stay -> I would say that the kettle and the sink were impossible to work together you couldn’t get the kettle under the tap to full it up - terrible set up. Also could do with a plug to charge gadgets near the bed side of the room

Felt the hotel was very tired. Outside in need of painting and a good tidy up. Inside lobby ok but the halls on level 4 tied looking and rooms very basic. Not even any pictures. i wouldnt pay anymore than the $73 per room that i paid. Staff on arrival were pleasent but not offering and extra information especially when i asked about the hotel not having a restaurant for breakfast. No offer of Cafes in the area. Not sure i would recommend this hotel to anyone

I think the main negative issue Willis Wellington Motel has, is that they are marketing themselves as an upmarket, trendy motel, however to be blunt they are a backpackers. If they marketed themselves as a backpackers, and had accurate photos, people would know what to expect and I feel reviews would be kinder. Just be honest about what you are providing. This was the cheapest, fancy motel I could find in the CBD- modern bedding, modern bathroom and furnishings… Or so I thought looking at the photos. The rooms are small and dated- they are basically a private room at a backpackers with a bathroom. The bathroom in the photos was not my bathroom by a long shot; the bathroom I had was incredibly dated- I’d guess 80s (it was however very clean!). The carpet was vacuumed and room was clean - but carpet needs a good shampoo (Do not being preschoolers- you don’t want them playing on this carpet). The worst part for me was the cold; the windows didn’t seal and each gust of wind brought a breeze into the room -the heater hadn’t been on all day and it was warmer outside on the street than in my room at 9pm. I turned the heater on when I arrived and it took 1.5 hours to keep the chill off enough to sleep- never got warm- just kept the chill off and I slept in 4 layers of clothes (it was a bit ridiculous, and no extra blankets provided). Don’t stay here if you feel the cold! However the room did NOT smell badly (as other reviews state), cups etc were clean, bedding was fresh and clean.
