This property was exactly what we were looking for when planning our family’s three-generation Christmas vacation. From the daily warmth from the beautiful fireplace providing endless opportunities for a s’more to multiply spaces for meals, games, crafts, and puzzles to the comfy bedrooms providing private spaces, we had a wonderful time making memories. Communications were great and the property was clean and equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, including the Blackstone grill. We are thankful for the hospitality, blessed by our time in Wautoma, and would recommend this property to others without hesitation.

Beautiful home and property

We loved staying in this lake house with our large family for a ling weekend. It was everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the fireplace!

Family birthday stay

Everyone enjoyed the quiet, serene lake. Paddleboarding, kayaking and a rental pontoon boat were the highlights.The lake is very weedy and shallow so swimming was not great. Home was comfortable.

Snowboarding Trip!!!

My family and some extended family stayed here for a week to go snowboarding, the mountain was only 15 minutes away and the lake is beautiful to stay on in the winter. The host was great, allowed us to enjoy or stay without bothering us too much but ensured we knew they were available if anything was needed. House was clean and plenty of room and amenities. Highly recommended

Wonderful place

This home was amazing and spacious. It had all the needed amenities. The host was easy to contact and replied right away. It snowed during our stay but they had someone come and clear the road and the driveway and pathways around the house. Easy access to the lake to ice fish. Would definitely recommend and would also return!

Fantastic staycation!

We loved our stay. The host was very responsive. The location was perfect, right on the lake. The lake water didn’t have any smell. It was perfect. We were able to get into the water, including the kids. The house was spacious and cozy. The view from the upstairs bedroom, living room and kitchen was gorgeous. We spent everyday in the water watching the sunset over the lake. Wish we had more days to spend. We’d be back for sure.

5 Stars. Amazing open concept home on a flat lot with pier on shallow lake. Small sand area for kids - our Grandkids had so much fun swimming to the raft (about 4' deep) & back. Enjoyed the use of the multiple Kayaks & Paddle Board. Some life jackets are available, however, you'll likely want to bring childrens for proper sizing. Deck & deck furniture are great together with fire pit & wood provided. We did bring lawn chairs & recommend you do too for around the fire pit. Washline with clothes pins for wet towels & suits. Lots of dishes, pots, pans, baking pans, etc. Keurig coffee maker (no coffee pot though). There are two outdoor keypad locks (one on the front door & one on the front bench) so be sure to clarify which keypad the Code you will be provided with will be for. Parking is in the driveway (2) or just off the gravel road on the grass (3) preceeding the trash bins.

Great property for family gatherings

Pros: We loved our stay. The lake was beautiful and perfect for small children. The home equipped us with enough toys for our kids of all ages to enjoy themselves out on the lake all day. The home is nice & secluded. We were greeted by the landscaper which was nice of him. There are tons of extra blankets and pillows so you don’t need to bring your own. Rooms are huge with adequate space to sleep and maneuver around. Lots of toys for kids. Cons: the kitchen could’ve been equipped better. We didn’t have enough bowls/utensils/pots to cook with so it took a bit longer making meals for a family of 12. There are no condiments besides salt so make sure you bring your own if you plan on making meals. The AC lacks a little, the home took a while to cool down and we barely had any traffic opening/closing doors but it will cool down by bedtime. Other than that, definitely would book again!
