Stayed 5 nights for our annual hiking trip. Highly recommend! Great location, great food and drinks at the pub and restaurant in the kilmoroy across the street, friendly staff.

Second worst hotel experience

Fridge has a leak made a noise all night. Fan made a noise so you couldn’t sleep. had to turn it off so it was so hot unless you wanted to keep windows open right onto the deck. Loud housekeeping in morning and guests right outside the door. and deck in serious need of repair. Definitely not worth the price they charge. Sorry but we never slept for two days.

Perfect adventure intermission

It was sooo comfortable and cozy. The pillows were made out of dreams. Soft, fluffy dreams. I love it when hotels have character.

I was tempted to give it a terrible but that just seems mean. Exterior is in shambles, interior stairs up to room stinky, stuffy and so dirty. Decor is like a 70s mobile home and the room carpet is disgusting. “Kitchen” table was sticky and the whole experience is giving roadside motel in some crappy town in the US. Sorry Crandall but $300 is only acceptable because there are no other vacancies nearby. You’d be better off camping or sleeping in your car. Bed is comfortable and sheets are clean but I’m pretty sure that little box in the corner is for trapping roaches or other little creatures.

Older mountain lodge with nice updated interior with comfortable beds. The rooms look better than the pictures inside. Quiet central walkable location near shops & restaurants. Good wifi but no tv. Keurig, microwave & fridge in our room. We made our little breakfast and enjoyed it on the lodge patio. Would stay here again.

The street appeal is a deterring yet the room itself was pleasant enough. It is an old building that could use a some TLC. The main door to the 4 units was noisy. Note: there was no TV in our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

We loved this little Inn. The rooms and freshly renovated and super quiet. Our room was quite warm, but with the fans it was still easy to fall asleep once it cooled off outside. My only suggestion to the owners would be to replace the rotten and damaged boards on the front deck, they really are a tripping hazard and unsafe its current state. That said, we will stay here again on our next visit and will recommended to others too.

Excellent location, within walking distance of everything within Waterton. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room could have been a bit cleaner, but beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, and the welcome cookies were an added bonus for our kids. Overall we really enjoyed our family really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book another stay on the future.

CML is a lovely old-fashioned lodge that was nearly perfect for what we wanted. It was super quiet, convenient enough to everything (Waterton is walkable, so this hotel is a couple blocks from "downtown" but an easy walk to everything. The room was well equipped with fridge and microwave. There were two fans but no air conditioning, which was fine because you could open windows for cool evening fresh air. The room was small but we made good use of the common outdoor deck. Personally, we would have preferred a smaller bed which would make room for a second chair.
