Cottage on Lake Ontario with extra charm and character!

Slice of heaven on Lake Ontario, filled with historical charm, and magnificent views! Wonderful location with community spirit on Oak Orchard on the Lake. NYS Boat launch and beach access is a short walk away. Kitchen stocked with items that make meals easy as home. Kitchen opens to spacious dining/ living room, has enclosed sun porch to enjoy sunsets. Two-tiered porch with upper porch accessible from master bedroom. Downstairs bathroom has shower, and upstairs bathroom features clawfoot tub. Cottage was built in the 1880's which has all of the features of a quaint and authentic place to stay. It has the original staircase and structure. Three of the upstairs bedrooms are adjoined (as was a common thing when this cottage was built). Keep in mind, this means that there is no central heat or air conditioning. There is a fireplace in the living room, with space heaters for the cooler nights and fans for the warmer days/nights.
The cottage features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Wonderful! Pictures don't do the lake views justice. Very peaceful sitting by the lake watching the sun set and the stars come out. The state boat ramp is across the street for almost instant access to the lake. Would definitely go again.

This property was absolutely wonderful. I was most impressed by the view and the immediate relaxation I felt once I walked through the door. I will admit that no AC was a slight issue, as the lake did not provide the cool summer breeze we were expecting (no fault of the property). Fans provided some relief, and we made the most of it.

What a wonderful place!

We can't say enough about how awesome our stay was at the cottage. It was 6 men in their 50's who wanted a place to stay while for our fishing trip on Lake Ontario. Unfortunately, our fishing trip was cancelled because of high winds and lightning. That meant we had to spend more time at the cottage than we though. We had a blast sitting out back and just bein' boys. Being lake front was the best thing we could have done! We hope to come back next year!
