Plan a winter getaway to this pristine modern farmhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood and is less than 5 minutes into Wasilla and fabulous restaurants. Skeetawk Ski Area, Hatcher Pass, and Government Peak Recreation Area are just 20 minutes away. This home is central to all the wonderful activities that the Mat-Su Valley has to offer! Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or an Alaska adventure for the family, we invite you to make this property your homebase!
This is a 4 story home, with a spacious and functional floorplan. The main level contains a large living room with gas log fireplace, dining area, custom kitchen, and half bath/laundry room. The kitchen is fully stocked everything needed to prepare a wonderful meal, and is equipped with stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and butcher block countertops.
From the main level, a short flight of stairs will lead you upstairs to an expansive master suite. This beautiful suite features a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a large seating area with huge picture windows overlooking Baldy Mountain. Star gazing and northern light viewing are amazing from this room! The spacious master bath has a deep soaking tub and walk-in tiled shower.
The upper level includes a second bedroom with a full size bed, as well.
As you go downstairs from the main level, you will be greeted by a family room with a large TV, comfortable couches, and a wood burning fireplace (for use only during power outages). This is the perfect place to cozy up with a book, play a board game, or enjoy a family movie night!
The lowest level of the house has two bedrooms with a shared Jack'n'Jill bathroom. These bedrooms each have a queen size bed.
Enjoy morning coffee on the front deck, and end the day by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit!

Absolutely perfect....exceeded our expectations. Host helped any way they could and did several thoughtful things... even supplying a turkey pan in case we prepared Thanksgiving dinner there! Just awesome people, place and time.

Wasilla Gem!
This was a great property in Wasilla that allowed us easy access to activities in Hatcher Pass, and served as base camp for the first few days of our trip.Communication with the owners was quick and efficient, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

The house was large with plenty of bedrooms and space. It was very clean. Instructions were well written and the process was easy.I have never rented a VRBO before and am afraid we were spoiled and will never book one this nice and CLEAN again. The master bath tub was huge and kitchen had everything. It only had one tv with 4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms if you have time to watch. We had 3 children and like to watch tv in bed before sleep.

Beautiful location
Great location for our family. Beautiful views, safe area for our daily walks, and layout worked well for our 3 age groups teens, parents, grandparents to have our own spaces. The house was spotless and modern- everything is updated with a cozy feel. Host was receptive and gave good local area recomendations.
