Easy enough access to all the city has to offer. We walked to the national mall some days and scootered with one of the many available options around the city, on other days. We rented a car for the day to go to Gettysburg across the street at the budget center (get a reservation as they do sell out of cars). Wawa is around the corner (convenience store of basic necessities and less cost). We grabbed sunglasses at Nordstrom rack across the street and a block up is foodie street with some great options!
Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind … greeting each morning and evening as we came and went. The manager grabbed our youngest some sweets when we were enjoying the wine hour in the afternoon.
Just a place that goes above and beyond and is accessible - the service and the location!

Over all stay was excellent. Last night of the stay, there was consistent knocking and drilling noise from the next room around 5 am. Which was not very pleasant. Other then that our stay was good .
Awesome stay will be back.
Great hotel, great location! The room was big and comfortable, and having a kitchen was a big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! Would recommend.
Very pleasantly surprised. Given the price and location I assumed there would be some downside to this property but I decided to risk it. The hotel was in good condition. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were huge and well-appointed. Super high value and would happily stay here again.
I stayed at the hotel when it was called just “The Quincy” over 20 years ago. Its location is perfect for solo or group trips and I have made both. Walkability is excellent. Numerous strolls to the National Mall, AAMHC, National Archives/Gallery. I think a trek to The O Myseum is also doable (chose Uber).
We stopped by for a night after a very long driving in the middle of the night and we were welcomed warmly by James and the check in process was quick and no hassle. With a toddler and a dog, it was definitely very appreciated. The room was very clean and updated! I love the kitchen even though we did not use it! There's a stove and a full size fridge! The check out process was also quick and no hassle. Forgot one set of our car keys when the valet driver started it for us. We just drove away because we have a spare key and didn't realize until we stopped by to get lunch and saw that they were calling us to drive the keys to us which was a service going above and beyond! They didn't have to but the offer definitely shown the level of care that this team can offer. We met the GM (I think his name was Ibrahim) while checking out, and he was very friendly and very down to earth! I was very surprised for the quality of the service, hotel condition and the amenities available, and the proximity of the location to downtown DC for the price I paid for the night. It's worth more than that. I would definitely stay again the next time we visit D.C. Thank you for welcoming our little family for a day/night!
Pros:
- Spacious room
- Room with kitchen and basic utensils available
- Close to National mall
- Coffee machine, popcorn, lemonade in lobby
- Valet parking available at additional cost with unlimited in-out. With kids, this was super convenient.
- Close to restaurants
- Able to get basic grocery (like milk, bread) from a near by store (Wawa)
- Service was excellent
Cons:
- The room door was hard to open and close and makes sound while doing so. Especially with kids, it was hard to open/close door without waking up a sleeping kids in room. This might be just for the room I received.
- The TV display was too bright and too colorful for the eyes and was too hard for the eyes. Was unable to adjust the settings. I believe it was locked.
- The lighting in the room was very less (One table lamp in the bed area). In the evening, we had to turn on the TV to have some extra lighting in the room (but the TV light is annoying).
Amazing property, wonderful colleagues, they were so kind and accommodating. Anaja (sorry for the mispelling) was amazing. She really helped make our trip and our event perfect
