My overall stay at this property was good. I was pleasantly surprising by the amenities that where available. Terry and Mark had a great booklet with activity ideas based on you length of stay. I received really quick responses anytime messaged. My only and biggest concern during my concern during was our stay was the insects we encountered. While this was definitely a negative part of the trip i do appreciateTerry and Mark working so diligently to resolve this issue for future guest. I insert

Work Trips

I stay here every month for work and it is so nice to come back after a long day to somewhere that is starting today feel like a home away from home. My dogs are happy because they get to be with me, I have everything I could possibly need, and Terry and Mark are just such lovely people. I am so happy I hit the VRBO jackpot.

Adorable stay

We really enjoyed the ability to take our senior dog out with ease and we used many of the amenities available to us. Everywhere we visited that week was easily accessible. i enjoyed being close to downtown but liked the feeling of being in a quiet neighborhood. You can hear owners upstairs but it did not both us. Communication was great with the owners.

Work trip

It was a great stay. I travel for work and have long days so it was almost like coming home each day, even to my dogs! I was so comfortable the whole time. Terry was so friendly and hospitable and even left treats for the dogs. Many places say “dog friendly” but they truly mean it. I didn’t feel the need to worry at all about them while I was out working during the day. He even suggested a pet store and restaurants. I’ve already re-booked for future work trips. Overall a wonderful “homey” experience. There was also everything I could have needed if I wanted to make easy meals. Hands down 5/5. See you next month!

Perfect weekend getaway

Terry’s home was amazing! While I was out most of my stay and did not fully get to enjoy all there was to offer, my time at Terry’s place was truly enjoyable. It was extremely clean and the setup was really nice with lots of amenities for guest, such as the coffee station. Terry was an excellent communicator as well for any of my needs or questions. Yes, we could occasionally hear walking upstairs, but it never bothered us. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing!

This was hands down one of the best short term rentals I've ever stayed at! Parking was very easy on the street, the apartment is gorgeous and very clean, there was even a backyard for my dog! I would stay again in a heartbeat, it was the perfect home base for exploring DC and a welcome haven after a long day of visiting museums.

A Great Deal on a Little Space in a Big City!

This basement level, one room, one bathroom space was amazing! It had all the amenities we needed and seemed very spacious even with three of us in the room. There was room to eat, work and just hang out. it was very clean and well organized. It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station and a 20 minute walk from the metro (because a lot of it is uphill). Easy access in and out of the space. Terry was a great communicator and host!

Excellent Accommodations

Very organized and well thought out in terms of what we would need during our stay. Everything was good. Mattress was nice and firm and we felt very secure. The walk to the metro was sketchy but there were plenty of ubers available to get us there safely. Great hosts! I loved the manual to help us acclimate to the studio apartment.

Peaceful and wonderful ammenities

The studio apartment was perfect for 2 adults. It was clean, it had a lot of amenities and little details, which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The owners make you feel welcomed and at home. In the evenings we played some of the games available on the premises. It has an air purifier running, which was extremely helpful for my allergies. It was a bit cold in the evenings to use the outside patio (March), but it was beautiful with the lights on in the evening. We went outside just to look at them. We used the Benning Street Metro Station to go to the National Mall and visit monuments, museums, and a few restaurants. The staff at the station were incredibly helpful when we were trying to buy our Metro passes. We visited the Trader Joe's off the Eastern Market Metro station to get a few items to eat and drink at the apartment since there is fridge/freezer unit. It was safe walking to and from the station-we only walked during daytime to be clear. Thank you for making our visit such a pleasant one.

Details

We loved the accommodations and all the attention to detail. There were no questions, unanswered, plenty of specialty items, coffee, candy, games, which really added to the comfort. We loved being able to sit outside and enjoy our dog in the weather I would highly recommend this place to anybody that was very comfortable, and the coast were wonderful.
