Neither hot tubs were working and no one was able to use the slides because they didn’t have staff to watch them. The staff they did have were fully clothed and you couldn’t tell who the lifeguards are. To top it off the place was so cold I was in a sweater and had put on a bathrobe on top of that to stay warm in the water park.

Was there last summer under the old ownership. Place was great. To be honest the new ownership has a lot of improvements to do!! Pools were cold hot tub wasn’t even as warm as a bathtub. Air was so cold kids could not be in water long. No restaurant anymore just bar food like you can get at any poolside cafe or fair . The nice thing is the location but being out in the middle of nowhere to not have a full restaurant anymore there’s nothing to eat except pizza or fried chicken from a gas station. Overall, the changes that were made honestly I believe we’re only to save money. It used to be a really nice resort. It was very disappointed.

Went for my daughter's birthday weekend winter getaway. She wanted to go to an indoor water park. The entire hotel was cold, pool water freezing, the life guards wearing winter jackets and hats, and both hot tubs shut down. The resort and stay was a big disappointment.

The room was nice - no issues there. However, the waterpark was another story…hot tub being down - I know this happens…but the air temperature in there - well, I could actually see my breath…the water actually had steam coming off of it. Lifeguards wearing winter coats and stocking caps. If I was there as a Christmas getaway with small kids - I would have been extremely disappointed as I honestly cannot fathom how there were some kids in the water… I did not try to eat there as friends we were with waited over an hour for a fish sandwich and cheese curds (which they never received)… So much potential - but I strongly advise to find another location if you are looking for waterpark fun…pay a little more and go to the Dells or Minneapolis….

Heating in half the building didn’t seem to be working. The pool area was freezing cold, lobby & restaurant were cold, you had to wear a sweatshirt or jacket whenever you left your room. They need more staff to help the one person running the restaurant and bar. I wish our experience could have been better for our child’s birthday weekend 1st hotel experience. We more than likely will not come back.

My family and I were going down the elevator when a lady stopped us and asked if we were going to the water park, and said it is super cold that they had to go upstairs their room. We still went down and in fact it was super cold. But other than that we will come back in the summer time!

Rooms were dusty, dead lady bugs along door to patio, no shampoo/conditioner/body wash in bathroom, no microwave, no coffee maker in room. Hotel was a ghost town, ZERO housekeeping staff the entire weekend (confirmed by front desk worker), snack restaurant in pool area was permanently closed and was not noted on booking, bees were in the pool area (we saw a minimum of ten floating in the pools). Half the games in the arcade were out of order, the restaurant in the main hall had ONE employee working - when we tried to order pizza for lunch we were informed he (said lone worker) was the only person taking orders and making food and he had about TWENTY pizzas before our order so we couldn’t even eat at the resort the entire weekend. Snack at front are OLD, check the expiration date before eating if you order any of the severely overpriced items from there. Heat in rooms were funky, either super hot or super cold. No luggage carriers at the door off the parking ramp, poor signage on how to navigate inside the resort (elevator didn’t even list what floor each thing was on). Oh the elevator! Shakes like the heavens are opening when going up or down, terrifying. Front desk staff we kind but frank. “We have no house keeping staff, we are doing the best we can.” Staffing issues are the worse and difficult to navigate - however it’s still your responsibility to make it right. At check out we requested a refund and were told they would call us back in a week and never did

This was our 6th stay there and it was disappointing to say the least. The pools were all super cold so you couldn’t swim, we ordered pizza and it was doughy and still raw. Way under cooked. Service wasn’t as friendly as usual. Our room didn’t have heat for 2 hours, hair all over the shower walls and no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles. Our final straw was the life guard telling my kids they could not play in the little kid area because “a wasp flew towards his face and he wasn’t letting any one on the upper area for the kids.” This resort has always been so kind and sweet to us and our kids and this time they weren’t. We have loved this resort for 5 years straight and this stay was not acceptable.

The resort is nice overall, I think it’s poorly managed, staff is very limited especially around the food court, not even very appetizing seeing a sign at the counter that said they are away in the bathroom, paints a bad picture that they will be making my food when they come back, barf.Life guards are not very attentive, water was cold at the waterpark.

There is no microwave in the room! There was no way of us heating up food to eat. Thank goodness for Jessica and Erica who was able to help us out since there was a microwave at the front lobby. Thank you, Erica! Thank you, Jessica, she was there again our second night stay. Also, poor Michael who was the only person staffing the restaurant! So much people and only him taking orders and running food. We waited over half an hour for wings, a slice of pizza and fries. Ridiculous! There was plenty of life guards though, many on breaks! Water was so cold in swimming areas, hot tub wasn't even hot! There was only 1 hot tub open and again, it wasn't even hot...luke warm with freezing water running through.

Hours for breakfast and pool were incorrect. Staff was rude. The pool water was low and tubes were flat. Game room was beyond hot to the point you couldnt even stand to be in there more than 5-10 minutes max. Overall very poor experience. Also told they could not refund us any money for our poor experience as it was booked through a 3rd party

Don’t waste your money. Our light switch didn’t have a cover so told me to use a pen to turn it on and off. Pool has a foot of water less. Majority of the tubes were deflated. Tube slides were shut down over half the day. Tube wouldn’t drain due to hair. They said they’d send maint. Then 2 days later said oh maint can’t go in your room. Even tho they said the light switch was unsafe. Said there would be breakfast but never open Saturday. Pool said 9 but they said to try at 10.

Staff was amazing. Very friendly. I loved the new changes with the front arrival arrea! Kids loved the indoor water park and the arcade. We nooked through this app but there was a switch up with our room. They were able to switch us to the room we needed. The addition of a few slot machines was a nice surprise as well. Overall was a very nice stay.

The indoor water park was nice, and great for kids. Although, it does need a cleaning. Dirt in the water and on the bottom of the pool. Room was spacious and bathroom was decent size. Shower was equipped with the soap, shampoo, and conditioner bottles, however ours were empty and the front desk did not have replacements, but the front lobby had small bottles of soap and shampoo available. Arcade upstairs had several broken games, and it was ridiculously hot. In fact, it was warm in most areas, as if the heat was on but it was in the 80’s outside. The arcade was not enjoyable due that excessive heat. The resort has a decent location and staff were friendly. We had a great time in the water park and would consider coming back if ever in the area again.
