Very unique home with tons of space. The hosts were some of the most responsive and definitely the most helpful I've ever had. The information related about the house and surrounding area was incredible. Extremely clean and by far the most supplied, also. And the amount and thoughtfulness of the welcoming gifts, amenities, and baskets was incredible. Tons of parking space as well if uou are bringing in multiple rigs with large trailers. If you are snowmobiling in the area its like this house was custom made for you!

We stayed a week for a 3rd season rifle hunting trip. The house was great. The hosts were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. When there was an issue with the house (standard home ownership issue beyond their control), they did everything they could to make sure it had the smallest impact on our stay, including multiple trips over the mountains. We would certainly go back!

Deanne and Mark were excellent hosts. Great communication and hospitality. Nice little thoughtful touches throughout the house to welcome us.We were a group of 5 men on a hunting trip. We were away from the house for most of the days and didn't even have time to use all of the offered amenities. We've already booked again for next year.

This home was hands down the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. We were so impressed that the hosts truly thought of everything. This home and it's amenities really go above and beyond expectations. The hot tub area is amazing, weather proof and has such a beautiful view. The kitchen and coffee bar are so well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and comfortable and the overall home is in a great safe location with everything you could need and more. DeAnne was a wonderful host and very accessible/easy to communicate with. We will be back! 10/10

Walden “weekend”

Absolutely gorgeous inside the house!! So many cool decorative touchesAll the teenagers (my kids, nephew and my son’s GF) especially enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and “pop-a-shot”.Love the convenience to town and the lovely, LOVELY quiet at night. Would not even momentarily hesitate to stay here again. GREAT start to our vacation week.Owner was easily reachable and helped us quickly solve our one minor issue (which was of our own creation being “rental rookies”) 5 stars isn’t enough!!!

Amazing property

The property is excellent. Communications was great.. The little extra things they thought of made our stay special.. Really enjoyed the hot tub, wood stoves, pool table, and the extra space.. Kitchen area was perfect for entire crew to dine together. Everything you need is there. Definitely will be back.

College buddies from the late 70's fishing trip.

A couple buddies and I stayed at the Cozy strawbale property 4 days last weekend to do some area fishing. We hadn't seen all of us together for 16 years, although we all live an hour apart. So we planned a fishing retreat to the Walden area. Had a great time, but more visiting and catching up than fishing! The house was perfect, the guys loved it. They want to take the wives back next time! Beds were comfortably sleeping and the decor was very nice. Many amenities that we didn't take time to utilize, but might with a longer stay and the company of our wives. We didn't even use the kitchen, elected to save that time and dine in town. We really enjoyed the coffee bar and the snack/treat goodies left for us as singles! The views were great, deer in the driveway every night coming home from dinner. It's a very nice, comfortable house on the edge of the small town of Walden with lots of amenities and we plan to go back soon!

Comfortable home in a beautiful setting.

Amazing house, all the comforts of home, the owners have thought of everything you would need or want in this home. The homemade goodies, and complementary coffee bar just to name a few of the little touches to make our stay perfect.
