Wir waren mit mehreren Familien bei bestem Sommerwetter im Mai hier. Das Haus und der Garten haben ein tolles Ambiente und bieten viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten und viele schöne Räume für gemeinsame Aktivitäten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist tatsächlich manchmal laut. Uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen, wir würden wiederkommen!

Das Haus wurde für eine Woche über Silvester für 8 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder und 2 Hunde gebucht, da Wellness, Spielmöglichkeiten und Ruhe versprochen wurden. Leider entsprach das Objekt in vielen wesentlichen Punkten nicht der Beschreibung.Die Sauna war wegen fehlendem Regler, fehlendem Thermostat und einer beschädigten Bank mit herausragender Schraube nicht nutzbar. Eine Reparatur erfolgte trotz Meldung nicht. Dieser Mangel wurde bereits in einer früheren Bewertung erwähnt. Das beworbene „Fitnesscenter“ existierte nicht; stattdessen gab es einen alten Boxsack, ein paar Hanteln und einen defekten Airhockeytisch. Auch Billardraum (zu klein), Garage (Platz für weniger Autos als angegeben) und Trampolin(defekt) entsprachen nicht der Beschreibung.Mehrere sicherheitsrelevante Mängel waren vorhanden: ein ausgelöster Feueralarm, eine dauerhaft angezeigte Störmeldung der Notrufanlage sowie ein offenes Lampenkabel. Viele Zimmer waren sehr klein, teils nur durch ein Bad erreichbar oder ohne Bad in erreichbarer Nähe. Die enge, steile Kellertreppe war mit Gepäck kaum nutzbar. Zusätzlich liegt das Haus an einer stark befahrenen Straße, was bei schlechter Fensterisolierung frühmorgendlichen Lärm verursachte.Hinzu kamen zahlreiche vermeidbare Defekte (Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Möbel, Toilettensitze). Aufgrund der erheblichen Abweichungen von der Beschreibung und des schlechten Preisleistungs-Verhältnisses reisten wir vorzeitig ab. Ein Entgegenkommen der Vermieterin blieb leider aus.

Wir waren für 4 Tage dort und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war wirklich unkompliziert und nett. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, nur leider liegt das Haus direkt an einer Hauptstraße und das Haus ist schlecht isoliert, sowohl gegen Lärm als auch gegen Kälte. In den zur Straße gelegenen Schlafzimmern war es dadurch extrem laut, da auf der Straße sehr viele LKW unterwegs waren. Insgesamt war das Haus gut ausgestattet und das Freizeitangebot ist sehr vielfältig. Allerdings ist der Zustand der Einrichtung sehr schlecht. Es gab viele Mängel, die leicht zu beheben wären (wackelnde Toilette, defekte Duschhalterung, defekte Deckenleuchte, Airhockeytisch defekt, Regulierung der Sauna defekt uvm.) und verschiedene Utensilien in der Küche könnten mal ausgetauscht werden (verbogene Messer, Kaffeemaschine fällt auseinander, fehlende Türen in der Küchenzeile…). Es ist insgesamt alles funktional, aber erneuerungsbedürftig. Hervorzuheben ist aber auch der schöne Garten, in dem man bei schönem Wetter gut entspannen kann. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus mit tollen Angeboten, das aber dringend mal überholt werden muss.

Tolles Haus

Die Villa Caroline war für für unser Familintreffen sehr gut geeignet. Grosse Küche, um gemeinsam Essen zuzubereiten, die meisten Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und viele Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für Gross und Klein. Gut gefallen hat uns auch der eigene Stiel der Einrichtung und mutiger Farbwahl. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We verbleven in Villa Caroline met de ganse familie (19 personen). Een groep met een leeftijdsverschil van 70 jaar. Er is voldoende ruimte in het huis voor alle leeftijden en de keuken is ook perfect in orde. Wij gaan zeker terug.

Schoon en goed gefaciliteerd gastenverblijf, maar sterk gedateerd.

De villa ligt mooi centraal in de Ardennen, al is de weg waaraan het ligt wel behoorlijk druk. Doordat de ramen niet geïsoleerd zijn -en vooral in de slaapkamers aan de voorkant- werd dat hinderlijk gevonden. Het huis is groot genoeg voor 14 personen, maar door de kleine zolderkamers zou ik meer dan 16 personen niet aanraden. De villa was goed schoon en de badkamers uitstekend schoon! Het meubilair was echter gedateerd en enkele delen ronduit rijp voor het afval. Erg prettig waren de aanwezige tafelgrillen, we hebben daar gezellig samen mee gegeten. De keuken zelf is ook wat gedateerd en vooral de ene kleine afwasser is eigenlijk niet genoeg voor een grotere groep. Grote frustratie is er ontstaan doordat we bij direct bij check-in onverwacht nog een flink bedrag bijbetaald moest worden, anders dan in de offerte; die vermeldde alleen de lokale taxes. Daarover is een meningsverschil ontstaan waar het kantoor van vrbo bij ingeschakeld moest worden. Had ik geweten dat er bovenop de prijs in de advertentie nog eens een groot bedrag kwam, dan had ik niet geboekt. De villa, ex- en interieur, is daarvoor te gedateerd.
