NEEDS LOTS OF TLC

Not Great the outside of the house looks like it hadn't been clean in a few years cobwebs and ants were so bad we had to buy ant baits. We had ants in our beds. We went and bought new sheets and put them over the existing sheets so we didn't have to see the gross mattress. The patio furniture was gross and so was the Hot Tub I wouldn't let anyone go into the HOT TUB that's how bad it was. The kitchen drawers were broken the Screen Door downstairs was broken etc. Good Location but the House needs some TLC!

Nice family place in need of better cleaning service !

So this would be a better place for a whole family and we reserved for my niece and myself as we needed extra space beyond my family’s place in Telico village. I think there was a lot of thought put into a very homey place with a beautiful deck and fla great game room… However I do not think it is a stretch to say the owners are being taken advantage of my Evolve service the place is on need of a good deep cleaning. The master bath has so much “hair” in the shower it could not have been cleaned well …Yuk! The main BR mattress was so worn that despite the sheets the bed was very scratchy and uncomfortable a good mattress pad would have adequately addressed this! My dad was taken advantaged of, in his home in Telico village I thought long and hard about …should I speak freely despite how friendly the man on the phone was when I called about the NEST being set too high “86” and the quick fix I decided to speak up for the benefit of the owners!

Not a great experience. House was adequately clean, but beds were suspect. The beds downstairs had some debris in the sheets. Also, our guests couldn’t sleep in the larger bedroom downstairs, because the bed was so squeaky. The pillows on the master bed upstairs were too thick and weren’t comfortable. I sent an email and phone message to local host regarding location of garbage cans. I did see that I missed a local call, but did get a response.

Home in need of some serious TLC

The front door was clearly broken and repaired poorly- it requires great deal of effort to align the deadbolt for locking/unlocking. The place is musty and dirty- there's a solid 1/4 inch of dust on the wood ledges and spiderwebs hanging from the ceilings, and there are several dehumidifiers working at capacity. The carpets show visible stains- even the throw rugs in the bathroom that could easily be tossed- I don't understand why they would leave them there?? The towels had a sour smell mixed with heavy perfume scent to them- like they were left in the washer too long and then sprayed with perfume to cover the mustiness.This place desperately needs a deep clean.

Review

Property was nice. Lots of traffic in and out of shared driveway. Large trailer was parked outside of kitchen window. Weather wasn’t great and the water was very muddy from remnants of Helene.

Beautiful home that needs better care

First of all the home is beautiful and cozy. Was easy to add 2 days for earlier arrival. Home needs better cleaning service to make owner aware of problems. Many lights had no light bulbs or bulbs that had blown out. Thank goodness there were extra bulbs in the cabinets but should not have to add or change light bulbs in order to see. Many of family are coffee drinkers and a one cup Kuriege is not sufficient. Bought a 10 cup and left it there when we left. Hope that resolves that problem for others in the future, some of the washcloths had sour smells when wet. Maybe washed and not dried totally when put away. The front door did not lock when we went out. Notified the contact and followed their instructions but still wouldn’t work. Did not like leaving the home unlocked. Only time it would lock was when I could turn the lock from the inside. Son did not get to use the boat sli. As the ramp is very very steep and damaged his trailer trying to get to the water. Really needed a 4 wheel drive truck to get the boat in the water. Don’t get me wrong we had a wonderful time. Just some inconveniences.

The house was absolutely amazing and had a beautiful view. It was perfect for my little family. Unfortunately the neighbors were partying the entire time all hours of the night. Peeling out of the driveway waking us up several times. Screaming and yelling at each other. I other.

Fabulous Cabin

We were overjoyed with the cabin and the quick response to our questions from Evolve. Cabin bery clean and beautiful. We usually dtay in a mountain cabin but this cabin far exceeded the mountain cabins. In the future this is going to be our go to cabin. This is by far the best cabin we ever stayed at.

Golf Trip

The house can sleep a lot of people, has a cool game room upstairs, and is very close to Rarity Bay golf course. The porch is perfect for hanging out at night and the hot tub is nice. I would recommend this place.

Awesome home

This home is perfect for families! Game room excellent. Loved the fire pit. Dock INCREDIBLE. Loved getting to use the kayaks, an added bonus. Only recommendation is a better entry into the wonderful hot tub. It is very high and steps don’t go up enough for easy entry. Lovely views from most of the home. Highly recommend this home.

Place was good, water was too shallow

We enjoyed our stay at the Cove Life. House was nice, accomodations were good. We did bring our boat with us which turned into the struggle. When booking, we contacted the host about water depths and were told no issues. Our boat drafts 30" and we were unable to get into/out of the cove without damaging the prop. The lake was still down from winter, so if the water was at normal height, wouldn't have had a problem. Would have been nice if the host let us know the water was still low.

Wedding trip

Granddaughter was getting married over the weekend. This cabin allowed for the whole family to stay together which made it much easier and closer to venue. Even though in the winter this cabin had everything to make our stay very enjoyable! The games the cabin had with the pool table, arcade games kept the kids entertained all weekend. The hot tub was amazing! Beds were comfortable, just all around wonderful cabin and trip for my family!
