This property is amazing! Exceedingly clean, and very quiet. Its nicely appointed with a lot of extra touches. It has an amazing covered patio off the living room, and my husband and I spent every night sitting outside listening to the rain hit the patio roof and watching the fire burn in the fire table. The owner is very responsive and quick to answer questions, and has a book that is better than any travel book I ever seen about everything in the area. We would come back here in a heartbeat to stay, this is not a five star home, it's a 12 at minimum! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to be a bit away from the busy town, and if you're planning on going to Volcano National Park you're less than 5 minutes away. Perfect location!

This was a beautiful, comfortable little hale, tucked in among the tree ferns and ohia trees. It felt wonderfully sequestered away in the forest.

This is a lovely cottage! Perfect for a couple or 2 friends. The views out of the windows are of ohia lehua, hapuʻu and blooming kahili ginger. It is a close drive to Volcano village restaurants and has a full kitchen if youʻd rather cook.

What a lovely and cozy home away from home. So much time was spent on the lanai because being surrounded by all the lush vegetation felt like you were in a secluded forest, complete with all the sights and sounds. This place was the highlight of our time in Volcano. All the decorations were tasteful and I appreciated all the books on Hawaii. Such a lovely place. I hope to come back soon!

Adorable little house in Volcano

This is a cute little house perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a washer/dryer (we didn't use since we weren't there very long), there is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a fire pit on the deck that would have been nice to use, but the weather wasn't ideal (cold/rainy most of the time).

Short distance from National Park

Well-maintained property in Volcano, quiet and private. New furnishings, nicely decorated with local art, and beautiful yard. A lot of amenities that add value. If you plan to eat-in, bring groceries with you as the store in Volcano was not well stocked (we stopped at Costco near the airport in Kona). The kitchen was well enough stocked, perfect space for two people. Internet worked well for several business related zoom calls.
