Great house, nicely furnished, convenient to beach (though you have to cross a busy road to get there). This was our second stay at North End Bungalow; we look forward to returning next summer. Highly recommend.

Nice proximity to the beach

Nice property but wanted to point out that the outside shower was no working.Also, the bedrooms were bright so black out shades would be awesome.I also texted the owner but never received a text back. Thankfully the maintenance guy showed up and was able to answer my question.

Ideal for what we needed

This property was perfect to gather as a family and welcome home our daughter from a long deployment! We were able to have a cook out, walk on the beach, and just enjoy time together! Sheppard, our point of contact, was very receptive and accommodating through our reservation and stay experience!

Charming beach cottage

Excellent Stay

We spent the weekend in this North End beach cottage while in Virginia Beach for a larger family event. The house was extremely clean, wonderfully decorated, and well-appointed. The beds were comfy and the backyard inviting. I would definitely recommend the cottage, and look forward to hopefully visiting again next year!

It's a find!

House is well located. The VRBO listing is accurate. Everyone in our family was very happy with the house. The outdoor shower was great and a real plus for everyone coming back from a day at the beach. One suggestion: provide more towels or make it even clearer in the listing that renters might want to bring additional towels.

Fabulous home! Lots of room in and out!

The house was perfect for our weekend in Virginia Beach. We cooked some meals and explored the beach and restaurants. Pickleball courts were drivable and the weather was great! So much to do near the house I would definitely visit again.. the house was clean and well stocked. The owner was very responsive to each of my questions.

Nice Cottage

Nice updated cottage. Well equipped. Huge upstairs master and bath with black out shades (big plus!). Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, nice furnishings. Close to everything (boardwalk, restaurants, shopping, tourist stuff) and the beach, but you do need to be careful crossing main road.

This house is beautifully decorated and perfect for a beach vacation. Ideal for family.

Absolutely wonderful. I certainly could live there permanently. Has everything you could want in a rental. The master bathroom is to die for. It is an easy walk to the beach without being bothered by a beach crowd. The neighborhood is lovely and makes you feel as if you are home . Perfectly set up for two families as the master is upstairs while the other two bedrooms are downstairs. We could get up early and watch TV in the sunroof without disturbing my daughter or grandchildren. Looking forward to going back.

Perfectly Sized Rental and Nice Renovations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We found the rental to be the perfect size for our group of six and the renovations were nicely done. The rental was a short walk to the beach and also close to our family that we were visiting. The access road was great for walking and/or running each morning. The driveway was a little tight for parking and it would have been nice to have a handrailing on the front deck for our 92 year old mother but if we have another opportunity we would definitely rent this house again.

Great property - check in process a mess

Property was awesome in every way. However, there was minimal if any communication before arrival telling us who the check.on email was from. We looked for one from VRBO wand there was not one. We tried to reach the property manager and only received voicemail on no rings. Pretty bad to have no one available on the day of check in. We had to book a Marriott room to make sure we had a place to stay as we did not hear from anyone and VRBO only had BOTS- really? Part of getting a house is personal service but not in this case. Finally we reviewed every email and found one from coastal something and guessed that was it. In the future, please have more clear communication prechrck in and for what we pay per night a human to answer questions. Everything else was great
