Very basic hotel.

Stayed here for one night as a family of four in a deluxe family room. Booked through hotels.com and did not find out until check in that there are NO BATHROOMS in the hotel room. Bathrooms are shared for all rooms. Very disappointed that hotels.com did not mention this in their information about the hotel as this is a huge factor in booking a hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel we had to wait 45 minutes for an employee to come to the reservation desk, despite calling several times. The rooms are very basic - very dorm room esque. I would not consider this a hotel, would consider it more of a hostel. Was kept clean. Free basic breakfast. While close to Astrid Lindgren world, is not really walkable.

Nightmare in Remote SmÄland

A nightmare trip to Astrid Lindgrens VÀrld because of this dumphole. Don't know if it's them or Hotels.com but we could book it two days before arrival. However they claim they don't work with Hotels.com any longer. Anyway, it was a worn down place with foreign staff that didn't want to understand nor help. Hotels.com relocated us to a village 45 km away in the SmÄland woods. No taxi, luckily we caught the last train / buss. Next morning getting back to ALV took over 2 hours. If you consider visiting ALV make sure to double check your hotel or whatever you booked. You don't want to be surprised there. It is truly the middle of nowhere. AVOID THIS PLACE if it comes up in your search.

Fantastiskt trevlig personal, fint bemötande och sÄ behjÀlpliga. SjÀlva stÀllet Àr rent men slitet och det finns inga toaletter eller duschar inne pÄ rummet, men dÄ var rummet stort och rymligt. Vi Àr nöjda med vistelsen, nÀra till Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld.

Vandrarhem?

Mer vandrarhem Àn hotell. Hade missat att rummen saknade toalett/dusch. Stod förmodligen i beskrivningen nÄgonstans, men det hade vi inte sett, och baserat pÄ priset antog vi att det var ett normalt hotell. Ganska fÄ och smÄ toaletter ute i korridorerna, hittade inget skötbord, och den enda handikapptoaletten var lÄst. BesvÀrligt nÀr i princip alla gÀster Àr barnfamiljer. Gemensamma duschar (flera duschkabiner i samma rum). Frukosten var okej, men vÀldigt högljutt i matsalen. Trevlig och hjÀlpsam personal!

Enkelt men bra inklusive bra service

Enkelt men bra stÀlle; nÀra till butiker, restauranger etc. Bra service bÄde inför ankomst och under vistelsen. Ligger i kanten av ett industriomrÄde sÄ inget för de som vill ha natur och mysig utsikt men iövrigt perfekt för en bekymmersfri övernattning i en trevlig stad. Bra utflyktsmÄl i naturen runt omkring t.ex. Katthult eller den tusenÄriga eken i Kvill.

Bra rum, men va inte tydligt i beskrivningen att det endast var delad toalett. Ok frukost och kÀndes rent. KylskÄpet var inte kallt och förstörde vÄr mat (fick ett "det funkade igÄr" nÀr jag sa till). VÀdligt lyhört och otroligt dÄlig ventilation. Var en lastkaj utanför dÀr de började jobba vid kl 7.

Detta B&B har allt du behöver!

Detta B&B har allt du behöver för en natts vistelse! Bra storlek pÄ rummet, möjlighet till att tvÀtta och torktumla. Rent, men inte toppmodernt. Men varför ska det ens behöva vara det? Du har allt du behöver. Gemensamt utrymme för toalett och dusch, vi var dock i princip nÀstan alltid sjÀlva nÀr jag och dottern anvÀnde det. Inget spring eller mycket folk som man behövde trÀngas med alls! TvÀttmedel fÄr du i en liten fryspÄse om du behöver, dock inget sköljmedel men det gjorde inget alls. Bra frukost! Lite fler parkeringsplatser hade dock varit bra, dÄ det var fullbokat pÄ B&B. Trevlig och frÀsch uteservering pÄ framsidan att sitta pÄ! Vi har en familj pÄ 2 vuxna och 1 barn pÄ 3 Är. Kommer gÀrna hit igen!
