Cramped rooms spoil otherwise nice stay.

Generally the hotel was spotless, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Only 3 downsides. Firstly, the room was very small and the shower room so tiny you could scarcely turn round. Secondly, the hotel is a fair hike from Villers centre. Buses are few and far between and taxis don't exist in Villers and there isn't much around the hotel. Thirdly, the stairs from the underground car park come up outside the hotel. Got soaked. One minor gripe. When we booked in someone could have told us parking is free in Villers outside of July and August. Could have saved us €30 for 3 nights hotel parking.

Perfectly close to the beach but

My overall experience of the hotel was good but I really didn’t like the fact that in the evening, extremely bright lights came on on the outside wall of the hotel. They were so bright that even with closed curtain, I could still see them. I wanted to leave the curtains open in the evening to experience the sea as I had a sea side room but was unable to because of the bright lights, I had to close the curtains. I also was disappointed with the buffet breakfast which didn’t offer any cooked breakfast option.

Convenient hotel close to the beach.

Convenient hotel in town and close to the beach. The hotel parking is not free, but there is a free one on the beach side (except in summer). Breakfast is great.

Great Normandy stopover by the beach

We use this hotel as it's only 30 minutes from the ferry port at Ouistreham, passing over Pegasus Bridge, one of the first objectives on D-Day. the hotel itself is just over the road from the beach and 10 minutes by car from Deauville. The staff are friendly and the time are good. We will surely use it again.

Quite disappointing. Great position, but outside the town. Hotel was really very basic and not that cheap. It didn't come up to a 3* standard for us. Breakfast was ok, unusual to get it included in France

this hotel was well above what I expected having read the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect but it was better than I could have hoped for. A four night stay began with a room overlooking the garden and my wife and I were both bitten badly by mosquitos, not a fault of the hotel but a combination of an open window and a light being turned on, transferring to a sea view room for the remainder of our stay we had a beautiful view and fresh air. The staff were helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble, the location was OK but you need a car. The view amazing and all in all a very memorable stay and no problem recommending to anyone.......

The Deauville Villers Plage Hotel

Nice hotel, neatly nestled between two pretty villages and right on a beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles. A bit of a walk to either village, but Villers Sur Mer is worth the stroll for a nice evening meal in one of the many pavement restaurants. Hotel was good, if a bit basic, and the service was fine. It's worth paying the extra for the breakfast. Car park is 8 euros a day, but well worth it, as right underneath the hotel. My only criticism is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room! As a Brit, this is ESSENTIAL. There is a cafe where you can order and take it back to your room but, let's be honest, you're not going to do that at 8am in your pants, are you??

Ancien Ibis Budget ?

Nous avons choisi un hĂŽtel Ibis Styles suite Ă  de bonnes expĂ©riences dans cette chaĂźne d'hĂŽtel. Mis Ă  part quelques cadres sur les murs de la chambre (et une bibliothĂšque garnie et des jeux pour enfants dans l'espace commun), le confort est plutĂŽt celui d'un Ibis Budgets (au tarif Ibis Styles) : lorsque une porte coupe-feu dans le couloir se refermait aprĂšs le passage de quelqu'un, le mur et la tĂȘte de lit tremblaient, la salle de bain est minuscule avec, certes une douche en pluie, mais un mini meuble sous la vasque pour pouvoir poser ses vĂȘtements, quant-au petit dĂ©jeuner il est de type continental, correct et sans plus, si ce ne sont les jus de fruits / lĂ©gumes dĂ©tox qui ont bon goĂ»t, les Ɠufs Ă  faire cuire Ă  notre convenance et la variĂ©tĂ© de confiture. Sinon, il n'y a que du jambon et du jambon blanc et du fromage pour la partie "salĂ©". Nous Ă©tions arrivĂ©s Ă  14h (heure normale : 15h) pour faire le check-in mais on nous a dit qu'il est trop tĂŽt et qu'il n'y a aucune chambre de prĂȘte et le check-in n'est pas possible. L'hĂŽtel Ă©tant Ă  une quinzaine de minutes de Deauville, soit nous devions patienter 1h, soit l'enregistrement se ferait en soirĂ©e car nous avions prĂ©vu d'autres activitĂ©s le restant de la journĂ©e. C'est dommage, nous attendions mieux de notre passage dans un Ibis Styles.
