Set among pine trees and close to all amenities the house is four minutes walk (250 meters) from the superb sandy beach and two restaurants and a cafe/bar. Casa Agape is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course, and backs onto a national reserve of pine trees. Casa Agape is a beautiful, comfortable house, with a traditional Portuguese feel,laid out over two floors with terraces overlooking the large swimming pool. ( which is fenced for added security) It boasts views over the pine forested national park and towards the sea, and is luxuriously furnished throughout its four bedrooms, large living room and dining area, together with a large well appointed part open plan kitchen. The villa is air conditioned and is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard.

Great location and villa was great value. Communication could be a bit better and the villa needs a bit of TLC. However it was great for us and value for money cannot be disputed

Fabulous holiday at Casa Agape 2019

Just returned from Casa Agape. This beautiful villa, easily accommodated 10 of us,never felt overcrowded. The kitchen flowed out to the barbeque area, where we were able to watch the children in the swimming pool. The pool was a decent size. The beautiful beach was a 5 minute walk from the villa, we went during the busy season but plenty of sun beds available for 12 euros. We had lovely walks through the woods to the town nearby Monte Gordo, it took about15 minutes Taxis are cheap.

Lovely villa very close to super sandy beach

Villa is in a quiet residential area. The villa & outside area was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Villa will comfortably sleep 8-10 people and inside and outside lounge and dining areas also suitable for this many guests. The outdoor cooking area was really useful with a few BBQ's on the patio. Pool and garden very well maintained and the pool with the steps leading is very useful for children, elderly or guests with mobility issues. Downstairs bedroom and shower room also very convenient if quests need easy accessibility & villa was also largely wheelchair friendly inside & out. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay very comfortable villa clean well appointed, lovely bbq area, one of the best holidays we've had for a long time and so close to the beach where they have a superb new restaurant that has recently been opened next to beach. Andrew was very helpful prior to arriving with all information and made us feel very welcome. I don't really want to recommend as it may be booked next year leaving us having to book elsewhere!!!

Zwei wunderschöne Ferienwochen

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und den herrlichen Garten sehr genossen, sofern es das Wetter zugelassen hat. Der Weg zum Strand war kurz und erlaubte es, am Abend immer nochmals den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Die herrlich warme Zudecke empfanden wir in den teils kalten Nächten als sehr wohltuend.

Heerlijk huis, iets gedateerd.

Het is een prachtig ruim huis, super dicht bij het strand. Het ligt in een wijkje met allemaal vakantiewoningen, verder geen voorzieningen in de buurt. De keuken en inrichting is wel wat gedateerd. Buiten veel ruimte, mooi zwembad en heel leuk een tafelvoetbalspel! Ik zou er zo weer een keer naar terug gaan!

Sehr überzeugend!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön aufgeteilt und liegt direkt hinter den Dünen. Der Außenbereich ist sehr großzügig und ermöglicht einen ständigen Aufenthalt im Freien inklusive der Mahlzeiten. Lediglich der Geschirrspüler benötigt einmal einen Update. Ansonsten ist das Objekt sehr zu empfehlen und wir würden es gern wieder buchen.

Sehr schönes Haus, super Austattung, großer Pool, gute Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles was man brauchte war vorhanden. Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, mehrere Möglichkeiten um zu Essen. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben oft gekocht und gegrillt. Das besonders große Angebot an Frischfisch in den Supermärkten hat uns besonders gefallen. Der gut gepflegte Garten und der relativ große Pool hatte es nicht nur den Kindern besonders angetan. Das einzige Problem im Haus waren die Betten. Im unteren Schlafzimmer, das von Oma und Opa genutzt wurde, sind die Betten für Erwachsene doch sehr schmal und die Matratzen von minderer Qualität Die Betten im oberen Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten haben sehr gequietscht, obwohl hier die 5 und 6jährigen Kinder schliefen. Standort guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und nur ca 300 m vom herrlichen feinen Sandstrand entfernt. Vor dem Strand gibt es auch noch einen großen Parkplatz. Mitunter nachts lauter Verkehrslärm und laut feiernde Nachbarn. Das hat uns aber kaum gestört. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, evtl. in zwei Jahren wieder in diesem Objekt Urlaub zu machen.

We left after 16 hrs.......

If you want to know why we left after 16 hours - losing our entire payment - continue reading..... While there we discovered - 1. Hair in the drain of the upstairs bathroom left from the previous guests 2. The provided hair dryer was sticky on the outside and had plenty of hair on the inside 3. The mattress cover for the baby crib was very obviously old, heavily used & seemed stained 4. The mattresses in the 2 bedrooms we used were very old & uncomfortable with the beds as old as the house. 5. The sheets on the bed my wife & I used were noisy when we moved in bed. 6. The house felt dark, old and cold 7. The furniture downstairs had 'a lot of room for improvement' with the comfort and was 'well aged' 8. Although a very nice beach is only a 15 min walk away, everything else (restaurants, bars, stores, etc) is not within walking distance and there is nothing in the area of the house except other houses, plus the nearby town is pretty run-down. In summary, the price paid was overly ambitious considering the state of the house. And upon writing an email of explanation to the owner (on the Homelidays platform), we received zero response, not even an apology for the dirtiness of the house, only our security deposit back a few days after the rental period end. Good points 1. Owner was very diligent about communicating pre-arrival 2. The pictures of the backyard on this website are great and pretty representative So - if you want a place close to the beach, go for it. If you care about cleanliness, location convenience, etc., as we do, keep looking.

Estadia bastante agradável

Adoramos a casa, a começar pelo espaço exterior, que estava cuidado, onde os miudos efectuaram as suas brincadeiras enquanto preparavamos um excelente churrasco, a piscina estava ótima. Quanto aos interiores, cozinha equipada com todos os elementos básicas e restantes divisões estavam ótimas, permitindo um bom descanço. Recomendo a casa e o local, se possível, voltaremos a reservar em próximas oportunidades.

Excellent holiday villa

Very nice and comfortable villa, well equipped, nice garden and pool (very clean and well maintained) close to the beautiful beach. We were 11 adults (two families with 7 "children" between 18 and 27 :) )- the owner provided an extra bed - but never felt crowded, as the villa is very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay. The owners are very friendly and provided directions and all necessary information prior to our arrival. Thanks Andrew and Else, we had a wonderful time at Casa Agape!
