This was a very perplexing stay. The check in and property were fine. The first night we stayed, at 2:45 am the fire alarm went off. We walked around the property and there was no fire. It shut off about 10 minutes later and then went off again at 3:00 am. We sent the property manager a message, she apologized and the owner came over the next morning. He apologized and informed us that his other property had the same issue at approximately the same time the same night. We appreciated the visit. We stayed 5 nights. The morning we checked out we did exactly what was requested, ensured all of the dishes were washed, garbage was put in the outside garbage cans and start a load of linens, as instructed. We get a very abrupt message from Heidi asking why the house was left a mess and demanding a response. We were stunned. We queried and her response was there were a set of bed sheets left in a pile on the second bed and the throw pillows from the couch were left upstairs. We explained that the extra sheets that were left on the bed were from the blow up bed that one of our kids slept on. I reached out to the owner, sent the messages that Heidi sent us and voiced my concerns. He said he would speak to her and get back to me. We did not hear back. The property manager gave responded saying that the house took 3 extra hours to clean and took that off of our deposit. We have received no explanation of what took extra time. This makes us feel like this is a scam and would not recommend.
