This is not a fancy, five star hotel but rather a comfortable low key place, 4 storeys, and in a top notch location. Staff members are friendly, the breakfast is very good. They even provide newspapers, which I appreciate.

Great location. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Especially appreciated their flexibility in letting us park our car there for a few hours both before check-in and after check-out. My only complaint was the breakfast. Pretty lousy.

It was a very pleasant stay. The included breakfast is excellent! All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful and gave us tips on special events in the area. There was daily housekeeping and they were very quick and efficicent, keeping the room spotless. We will definitely be returning.

Our double room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Nice soaker tub! Appreciated the large sliding doors to the balcony. Front desk and breakfast room staff were friendly and professional. Excellent location - walkable to many of Victoria's most popular attractions!

The room was great with comfy beds and assortment of pillows and a great little balcony to allow fresh air in the room. I’ve stayed here numerous times due to the easy parking right outside the hotel doors and the great location. I wasn’t happy to discover that they now charge for parking. I was especially unhappy because it was a surprise and not disclosed when I booked through Hotels.com. Still a well priced hotel but if they are going to charge you a fee for something you should have Advanced notice. The breakfast buffet was good, but not pleasant because the staff watched your every move in case you were going to steal an apple or something which was very unpleasant.

My husband and I love the Embassy Inn! It is so close to the BC Parliament Building, the Inner Harbour and our brother and sister-in-law who live just behind the Empress. The staff are always friendly, our check-ins and outs are so easy, our rooms are always super-clean, the sheets have such a high-thread count they "crinkle" :) and best of all is their included breakfast. Great food, clean counters and a very restful, home-like chesterfields to eat and rest. We will be back again soon! Thank you, Embassy Inn!

Hotel areas and room were very clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Early check in was denied at 2.15pm. Check in lady said that room was not ready. Given the " not many people showed up at breakfast" thinking it cant be that hard to have a room ready st 2.15pm. Just my thoughts.
