Family Stay

We rented for our family for the week (kids, parents, grandparents). The home was comfortable and accommodating for our stay. The location is convenient to the beach and highways. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Good budget choice in Ventura

Well-situated very comfortable property within walking distance of both the beach and the center of town, and just three blocks from an excellent restaurant/café. Lacking a few more luxurious touches but fine accommodation for the price, and very clean.

Mid Town Escape

Our family had a great time here. The yard is beautiful--be sure to try and orange or two--they are the BEST! The loquat fruit is also very good. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of room and really enjoyed the town of Ventura.

Coastal Bungalow

We had a great time! The yard was beautiful with the sweetest oranges available for snacking. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very cute. Ventura is a great place to visit and we would gladly stay here again. The communication with the management was not very personable and we would have liked the entrance info a little earlier since we traveled from the east.

Lovely Midtown Spanish Charmer!

I am from Ventura and came to town to visit friends. Ended up getting sick on the day I arrived and thus had to extend my stay by a couple of days while I recovered. I did not go anywhere and instead had my niece and friend visit me and they both raved about how cute the place was. Very comfortable and cute home. Would stay here again.

Wonderfully Relaxing!

Everything you could want in a home. Wonderful to have a new kitchen and bathrooms. Space heaters were needed and available. That was very important! Beautiful backyard with the fresh fruit tree! How could you ask for more? Location perfect for everything! Thank you for making our birthday weekend perfect!

This is now our place to stay in Ventura.

We stayed for 7 days in August and loved the place. So, we booked 10 nights in December to celebrate an early Christmas with family that drove down from Santa Barbara. You will not find a more spacious, well decorated, three bedroom place with all the features this home offers. Plus the large back yard is a bonus if you are traveling with your dog. The home is in a well maintained neighborhood and is near the Ventura pier and beach side walkways. There is a charming restaurant in what was once a very nice house about two and a half blocks away; the food is outstanding and the service is excellent. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good clean house

The house is great proximity to the beach. About 20 minute walk. Nice neighborhood. The kitchen could use some help with the addition of few more day-to-day items such as a blender and mixing bowls. The greatest upset was the absence of an outdoor grill and some Furniture in the back for lounging in the sun.

Ventura Weekend Stay

Overall, the house was comfortable. However, the hot water was an issue in the kitchen and never got hot and the shower took a while to heat up. The breaker tripped in the kitchen a few times while staying there as well. The neighborhood was just ok. There were quite a few cars on the street and wouldn't say it's that walkable in terms of feeling safe.
