Great location, take advantage of a water taxi and use the canal side entrance for added romance. The hotel has an interesting historical story too. Room was good, breakfast excellent, and situated in a nice square a short walk to St Marks Sq. Had its own vaporetto stop 100m from the entrance too, and a gondola dock nearby too.

Accessing the hotel with all our luggage was easy using the public system and if you use private water taxi, it takes you right to a door into the lobby. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It has a convient water refill station, ice machine and hot lemon tea. It really is close to St. Marks and the Doges Palace.

I stayed at Unahotels Ala Venezia recently and enjoyed my stay! The hotel is very conveniently located within a 5-7 minute walking distance of San Marco Square and La Academia Bridge. It is only a 1 minute walk from water taxi service. My room had a balcony that looked onto a small canal and I could hear gondoliers singing in the afternoon. The hotel is on a side of a small square with restaurants and shopping. I am a solo, mature female traveler and I felt very safe here. I can recommend this hotel without equivocation. Happy Travels!

Great location. Steps from a water bus stop to the airport and train station and close to everything else. If you are like me and don’t pack body wash, shampoo or conditioner when traveling, just know that there was only body wash in the shower. No big deal, just something to be aware of.
