We just had a wonderful stay at the Montecarlo in Venice. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was operational in the month of April. We would highly recommend the hotel to others. I have one complaint and it is minor. I wished they could have served meatless scrambled eggs in the morning. There was bacon and sausage available on the table to accompany the eggs for meat eaters.

Fantastic!
We took a beautiful and unique room on the top floor of the annex. The room was very well appointed. Being a former attic the ceilings were a touch low for a 6'3" guest and instead of s shower there was a large jacuzzi tub. This particular room may not be ideal for all guests for longer stays but we loved it for our night in Venice. The staff were absolutely fantastic and stored our bags for several hours after check-out. The hotel's location is fantasic and is less than a kilometer from San Marco Pl and most of the major attractions.
