Great Base to Explore From

The place was fairly easy to find and very close to the Rialto Bridge, so just a 5 minute walk from the waterbus stop. It is down a couple of little alleyways but it seemed quite safe even at night. The interior is a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The room we had had windows overlooking one of the canals and we could watch the gondolas go past and hear them singing! There are towels provided along with a hairdryer too. A kettle and tea are provided but no tea or milk, however there is a co-op just a few minutes walk away so easy to stock up. A great location to get about from and we saw the whole of Venice on foot from this base. The owner was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a good base to explore beautiful Venice.

Struttura da tenere sempre in considerazione

Eccezionale cordialità, eccellente posizione, stanza bella calda, bollitore e tè a disposizione. Il letto è un commento sempre molto personale per mio gusto troppo alto e morbido. Assenza di tv per cui portatevi un iPad. Il wifi spesso salta. Pulizia " relativa" : spazzano, fanno i letti , cambiano spesso asciugamani, non sempre puliscono il bagno. Finestre ben sigillate per cui non si sente la confusione esterna dei turisti che vengono a vedere la scala che sta proprio accanto all hotel. Solo 2 minisaponette in bagno, per una tale struttura un dosatore con sapone liquido ci vorrebbe. A pochi minuti a piedi molte attrazioni, locali, pasticcerie, una coop. Richiedete il phon se vi occorre perché non lo trovate in stanza.

I have stayed in the carnival season. This hotel is much cheaper than other hotels in Venezia. The hotel is very difficult to find. The hotel stuff cannot speak English. Wifi does not work. The bed is very small. I think that the hotel worth is proportional to the price.

This a privately owned hotel. The owner is really sweet and very helpful. The only issue was that I had to pay her at the hotel and I thought I had paid thru Orbit. Also you will need google maps on your phone to get around Venice.

Tolle kleine Herberge

Super süßes kleines Hotel mit ganz herzlichen Gastgebern! Alles fürs Ein- und Auschecken nötige klappt auf Englisch. Die Lage ist klasse, wenn man sich einmal orientiert hat. Zentral, von San Marco zu Fuß nicht mal 5 Minuten entfernt. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr sauber! Für mich allein toll und zu einem für Venedig sehr guten Preis. Da ich sowieso nur zum Schlafen in Hotel bin, war es für mich eine sehr gute Wahl! Ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen. :)

This is an excellent place to stay in Venice. It cannot be called an hotel because it does not do food but all of the other facilities are very good. If I ever go back to Venice I would have no hesitation in staying here

Hotel was pretty much what I was expecting - basic, no frills hotel in excellent location. Friendly staff with limited English. Clean accommodations. Beds on short side and mattress and pillows harder than we like. First night there was limited hot water in shower, second day had hot water- no issues. Hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner would have been helpful. Excellent location! Close proximity to St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge where we took boat to from airport. Great restaurants within walking distance. Easy to find if look for contarina Scala Del Bovolo/spiral staircase.

I arrived by the boat and then tried to find the hotel by goggle map and map on iPhone but i could't find it. Then asked local ppl, he didn't the address but was so kind he asked about 3 persons before knowing where the address is. Then he took me to the hotel. I met 3 staff at the hotel I don't know their names but they were very kind :) My room was on the 2nd floor it suited me cuz i traveled alone. I only have a problem with the door lol Im not used to with this kind. From the room, I heard the bell rang so many times a day and I like it a lot. This place is like 7 minutes walk to St. Mark's Square.
